"That'll Be The Day" has its general premiere in the UK. Prior to the release, Paul revokes his verbal agreement between him and the producers, from using Buddy Holly songs on the soundtrack.

UK ablum release: Roger Daltrey's One Of The Boys, which Paul wrote the track "Giddy".

At the Baynard Gallery, the exhibition of Linda's photograghs continues.

Original 24-track tape of "As Far As We Can Go" is sent to Joe Walsh at Santa Barbara Sound studio, Santa Barbara, USA.

The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.
1985
In a small ceremony at Lime Street station in Liverpool, British Rail unveils a new Pullman locomotive, christened "John Lennon".

Paul is interviewed on the French television show "Champs Elysйes". He talks about his sheep, his first trip to Paris and his promo film for "My Brave Face".

In the UK, Granada Television broadcasts a recently produced drama documentary entitled "Stuart Sutcliffe - Midnight Angel".

Paul and Ringo are videotaped working on the song "Beautiful Night".

Ringo's concert at Eagles Ballroom, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Paul's documentary "The World Tonight" premieres at a press launch at BAFTA in London's Piccadilly. Paul does not attend.
