In Indianapolis, Indiana, in selected theaters, the Wings concert "Rockshow" is shown with the Beatles' movie "Let It Be" as the support.
In New York, damages of $587,000 (Ј267,000) are awarded against George in his plagiarism trial over "My Sweet Lord" resembling "He's So Fine".

Ringo and Barbara attend Elizabeth Taylor's 50th birthday celebration at the London nightclub Legends.
1986
In her first outing since 1974, Yoko and her band appear in Cologne, West Germany on the WDR German Television show "Mensch Meier". She performs the song "Hell In Paradise".
1988
One day after George attended the San Remo Music Festival in Italy, Paul arrives with his new band. They perform "Once Upon A Long Ago" and "Listen To What The Man Said". Neither Paul, nor George, knew that the other was going to be there.
1996

The Beatles announce their new creation "Apple Organic". Their aim is to "promote and encourage the use of environmentally friendly fabrics and processes in Rock & Roll fashion."
The United Nations nominate The Beatles for the "Fashion For The Environment Award", an honor set up four years earlier to promote green awareness.

At the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford, Yoko's art exhibition "Have You Seen The Horizon Lately" is on display.

In New York City, the Donald and Mary Oenslager Gallery runs in the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, at Lincoln Center. The library exhibition include tour memorabilia, historic film clips, video interviews with musicians, as well as interactive exhibits.
