At the Beverly Theater in Los Angeles, the stage play "Beatlemania" runs for a limited time.
In the UK, the Channel 4 music show "The Tube" broadcasts a segemt of film of the Beatles shot by Dezo Hoffmann in Sefton Park, Liverpool, and from July 23, 1963 while on tour in Weston-Super-Mare.
Dezo Hoffmann's new book "With The Beatles" is published by Omnibus Press, featuring many unpublished Beatles photographs.
1983
Ringo records the narration for 26 more episodes of "Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends".
BBC Radio One transmits an interview with Paul, where he discusses his album Pipes Of Peace, track by track.
1984
In England, BBC2's documentary series "Horizon" airs a film about the struggle against Parkinson's Disease by Ivan Vaughn, former member of the Quarry Men and the one man who introduced Paul to John back in 1957.
BBC1's cinema review program "Film '84" airs Barry Norman's views on the Handmade Film production of "A Private Function" and Paul's film "Give My Regards To Broad Street".

The "Beatle City" exhibition runs at the West End marketplace in Dallas, Texas.
