With the start of a new tax year, Paul officially changes the name of his company McCartney Productions Ltd. The new name is now MPL Communications Limited.
1982
Via satellite from London, Cynthia and Julian appear on the ABC-TV morning show "Good Morning America", where they are interviewed by host David Hartman.
1988
At Sotheby's in London, an acetate of "12 Bar Original" is sold for Ј1,300. Another acetate from 1969, featuring a recording of "Get Back", sells for Ј450. Paul's suit worn during the filming of "A Hard Day's Night" sold for Ј2,800.
1989
A Mercedes Benz made in 1970 for John is auctioned at "Christie's".
1990
The Riverside exhibition of Yoko's avant-garde films continues with the showing of "The Museum Of Modern Art 1971", "Rape" and "Smile (Film No. 5)".
2001
Paul buys the four-bedroom Beverly Hills home of Courtney Love for $3.995m.
2014
In New York City, the Donald and Mary Oenslager Gallery runs in the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, at Lincoln Center. The library exhibition include tour memorabilia, historic film clips, video interviews with musicians, as well as interactive exhibits.
