A stroll in the surf: The beach beauty who's bringing Sir Paul back to happiness
Paddling in the azure waters of the Caribbean with a stunning new girlfriend at his side, these are the pictures which show Paul McCartney is well and truly over Heather Mills.
Sir Paul jetted off on a romantic break with wealthy American socialite Nancy Shevell just seven days after his divorce from Miss Mills was finalised in the High Court in London.
Sir Paul and Nancy, who have enjoyed a string of secret liaisons since October of last year, tenderly kissed, held hands and took a romantic sunset stroll along a beach in Antigua at the weekend.
The former Beatle, 65, revealed his pretty 47-year-old girlfriend to holidaymakers at the exclusive Jumby Bay resort on the paradise isle.
McCartney looked very much in love again as he kissed heiress Miss Shevell as they sat holding hands on sun loungers, gazing out to sea.
The pair first met because they own neighbouring estates in the exclusive Hamptons enclave of New York.
Sir Paul, and Nancy, who is also a divorcee, had earlier taken a sailing trip in a small dinghy, one of his favourite past times on holiday.
After sailing for 45 minutes, they moored Sir Paul's red and white boat - named Sunfish - and swam ashore.
On the way back to the beach, the couple chatted and stopped to look at starfish in the crystal-clean turquoise water.
As they sunned themselves, Sir Paul, regaled his new lover with stories about the 'good old days' on the road with the Fab Four.
Shevell, a millionaire New York socialite, looked dazzling in a striped bikini, and seemed captivated by her new lover's tales.
The couple are staying in a £6,000($12,000)-a-night private villa at the exclusive resort on Long Island, Antigua.
The resort is used to playing host to high-profile guests. While Paul and Nancy were in residence this weekend, Mariah Carey and her enormous entourage also checked in.
McCartney and Shevell have been spotted riding bikes around the island, smooching and giggling like teenagers.
"Everyone on the beach could see they only had eyes for each other," said an onlooker.
"He is a good few years older than her but looking good and can clearly still impress the ladies. They seemed so happy and relaxed in each other's company, as though they've been together for years."
The couple flew into Antigua on a private plane.
Guests at the island's all-inclusive Jumby Bay resort hotel stay in luxury villas with outside showers, plunge pools, four-poster beds and complimentary champagne.
No doubt the trip will be a slap in the face for ex-wife Mills, 40, who reportedly flew into a rage last October when a photograph of McCartney and Shevell kissing in a car emerged.
Sir Paul wined and dined his new millionairess lover - a powerful figure in East Coast business and political circles - "as if she was his wife" in November ahead of his High Court showdown with Miss Mills.
They met up at the exclusive Blakes Hotel in New York's Chelsea district on October 9 and 10, just before the divorce hearing on October 11 in which he and Miss Mills failed to thrash out a deal.
Nancy announced she had separated from lawyer husband Bruce Blakeman shortly after the reports of her meetings with Sir Paul last year.
Nancy is vice-president of her family's transport firm New England Motor Freight, a conglomerate worth £250 million ($500 million). It has emerged the company was accused of being a mob front linked to the Genovese crime family.
According to reports in the U.S., the federal authorities filed a suit against her father Myron 'Mike' Shevell in 1988, accusing him of having a 'corrupt relationship' with mobster Tony Provenzano and other gangsters. It was settled with no admission of wrongdoing by Shevell.
It was not the first time he had been investigated since starting his business career in the 60s.
Within a few years he and his brother Daniel controlled two major trucking companies. But investigators launched a fraud inquiry and used a court injunction to force him to surrender control. The fraud allegations never went to trial but the brothers were forced out.
The move left him bankrupt but in 1976 he took over a failing transport company and transformed it into one of America's most successful.
Nancy and her former husband, who have a teenage son, Arlen, are believed to have been old friends of Sir Paul and his New York-born first wife, Linda, who died of breast cancer ten years ago this month.
Nancy, a breast cancer survivor, has donated large amounts to cancer charities and also supports self-help groups for the parents of addicted children.
She and her estranged husband are both active Republicans and in 2004 donated money to George Bush's presidential campaign.
Miss Mills was awarded just £24.3 million ($48.6 million) in the divorce settlement last months. She had been fighting for £125 million ($250 million).
As the Mail has reported, she is employing a team of forensic accountants to probe whether McCartney is worth more than the £400 million ($800 million) he says he is.
With Paul and Nancy on a romantic break in Antigua, Heather has been out in New York and in the Hamptons also "looking for love".
"Heather has been out on the town in New York, dressed provocatively as if she has something to prove. Yet is seems Paul is the one who has found happiness," said a source.
