Paul begins High Court proceedings to end the Beatles partnership. Peter Brown renounces.

The Beatles were voted second and third place with "Hey Jude" and "Let It Be". Also making the list were "Yesterday" 12th, "Strawberry Fields Forever" 26th, "Penny Lane" 37th and "She Loves You" 43rd.
