New York's Museum of Broadcasting showcase Beatles achieve clips documentary "The Beatles Early Days" and several other films from the museum's personal collection, including the "Ed Sullivan Show" appearances and excerpts from their Washington, D.C. concert on February 11, 1964.
Abbey Road's Number Two studio presents "The Beatles At Abbey Road", 3 times a day.
1984
The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.
UK single release: "On The Wings Of A Nightingale"/"Asleep" (Mercury 880-213-7), by the Everly Brothers. The A-side song is written and mixed by Paul.
1986
BBC Radio One transmits, on the program "Simon Bates Show", a pre-recorded promo interview with Paul for his album Press To Play.
1987
The "Beatle City" exhibition runs at the West End marketplace in Dallas, Texas.
Phase four of releasing the Beatles' albums on CD. Worldwide release of The Beatles (Parlophone CDP 7 46443 2 & CDP 7 46444 2) and Yellow Submarine (Parlophone CDP 7 46445 2).

The "Sun" publishes a world exclusive, entitled "I'm Lennon's Lost Sister". Ingrid Pederson makes the claim, stating that she was given up for adoption by John's mother Julia. The "Sun" requests that John's other sisters, Julia and Jacqui, contact them.
2013
John's tie, that he wore at the Cavern and handed to Joyce McWilliams, has sold at auction for £3,627. This was just one of many items sold during the Beatles 22nd Annual Memorabilia auction in Liverpool. A rare photo of the Beatles with Pete Best, signed by John, Paul, George, Ringo and Pete, sold for £6,435. Another lot – "The British Isles" by Thomas Pickles which is signed twice by John in 1956 while at Quarry Bank School – fetched £8,658.
The exhibit Linda McCartney retrospective is displayed at the Kunst Haus Wien in Vienna, Austria. The new exhibition is the first comprehensive retrospective of Linda McCartney’s work featuring 190 of her iconic photographs.
