On a recommendation by George, Dick Rowe, Head of A&R at Decca records, (and the man who turned down the Beatles), went to see the Rolling Stones play at Crawdaddy Club, London. The band were signed to the label within a week.
1965

Lionel Bart flies from UK to Spain to join Brian on vacation.
1966

1969

The first piece of Kinetic sculpture designed by Ringo and Robin Cruikshank is displayed at Zarach.
1972
John and Yoko make their second appearance on "The Dick Cavett Show".
1975
BBC Radio One airs an interview with Paul.
1978
Wings assemble at the RAK Studios to begin recording the track "Same Time Next Year". The song will later be used in the final credits of the 1985 Ann-Margaret film "Twice In A Lifetime".
1982
George begins recording his next album Gone Troppo at his Friar Park Studios.
1986
On location shooting begins for the Handmade film "Withnail And I".
1990
Yoko organizes a fund-raising memorial concert for John. Proceeds will go to the "Greening of the World John Lennon Scholarship Fund". Some of the artists that take part include Al Green, Joe Cocker, The Moody Blues, Lou Gramm, Dave Stewart, Hall & Oates and Roberta Flack. Paul and Ringo send video messages and the songs "P.S. Love Me Do" and "I Call Your Name", respectively.
1992
In an interview to promote his upcoming concert, George states that he'll be recording a new album and will tour upon its release.
1993
Paul's concert at Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio ("New World Tour").
1994
Paul, George and Ringo take a break from production work of "The Beatles Anthology" to visit a vegetarian restaurant.
1995
The "Bidding War" for the rights to air "The Beatles Anthology" heats up. The three main contender are BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
1997
Ringo's concert at the Mesa Amphitheater, Phoenix, Arizona.
UK album release: Flaming Pie (Parlophone PCSD 171).
1998
The case of The Beatles vs. Lingasong Music begins. Present is Edward "Kingsize" Taylor, who was responsible for taping the Beatles performance on December 31, 1962. Taylor claims that he and John had a verbal agreement to tape the concert.
1999
Paul's art exhibition at the Kunstforum Lyz in Hamburg with 75 of his 500 private paintings.
