11:30am. The police registers John and Yoko's flat, at Montague Square, and arrests them for possession of drugs. They are taken to the Marylebone Lane Police Station. For a short while they stay at lawyer Nicholas Cowan's house (35 Redcliffe Road, West Brompton, London).

In London, to celebrate the Queen's Silver Jubilee, the BPI (British Phonographic Industry) holds a ceremony at Wembley Conference Centre, celebrating the best British music since 1952. The Beatles are named The Best British Group 1952-1977 and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is named The Best Pop Album 1952-1977.
1979
At the Astoria Theatre in London, "Beatlemania" opens as planned. John is played by Michael Palaikis and Peter McGann, Paul is portrayed by Tony Kishman and Jack Petrilla. George is portayed by Jimmy Poe and Peter Santora, while Ringo is played by Louis Colucci and Bobby Taylor.
1980
In Honolulu, John's murderer borrows the book "One Day At A Time". Already psychologically deranged, the book further convinces him that John has "sold out" and must be taken care of.

In the US, the "National Enquirer" reports that Paul has purchased for Stevie Wonder a huge hand-made bed, featuring a built-in stereo system.

In Chicago, Paul and Linda hold a press conference for "Give My Regards To Broad Street".
In England, Paul's promo video for "No More Lonely Nights" is shown on BBC1's "Top Of The Pops".

Taken on the last day of his life, the image of a naked John Lennon curled around Yoko Ono was named the top US magazine cover of the past 40 years. The Rolling Stone front cover, taken by Annie Leibovitz was picked by editors, artists and designers.
