Я уже выкладывал эту информацию чуть раньше,когда разворотил эту застывшую тему пару недель назад.
Там не все согласились со списком из форумчан.

там же в вики еще и сказано, что пошла вторая волна глэма с приходом неоромантиков...вот это как раз спорно. какой к черту Адам Энт глэм-рокер? Бэй Сити Роллерс тож под вопросом - обычная подростковая банда, позднее у бундов появились Тинс. А вот почему не попали американцы Trigger и Twisted Sister? В принципе, можно было бы туда воткнуть и Motley Crue...

The other members of the band were: Robbie Blunt (guitar), Rod Rook Davies (guitar, percussion, vocals), Nigel Harrison (bass guitar) and Pete Thompson (Drums, percussion, keyboards, vocals). They recorded two studio albums, Silverhead (1972) and 16 and Savaged (1973), and were a part of the glam rock music scene of the 1970s.

Еще одна команда – Blackfoot Sue – некоторое время (а именно в 1972 г.) была причислена к глэм-движению. Их мега-хит Standing in the Road достиг 5-го места в UK.


After their television exposure, obligatory pin-ups in all the teen magazines quickly followed. As David recalled, "Tom and I were quite pretty boys, and so young looking we used to paint moustaches on our faces to look more mature!" Though the band were keen to be taken seriously, it was the height of the glam rock era, and they initially allowed themselves to be guided in that direction, despite keeping a determined eye on the serious rock scene (meanwhile penning a sarcastic commentary on the demise of glam called Glittery Obituary).

* Sweeney Todd is a Canadian glam rock band formed in Vancouver in 1975. The band's original lead vocalist Nick Gilder left the band to start a solo career, and was replaced by a young Bryan Adams, who later enjoyed international success as a solo artist.
The band, formed in Vancouver, British Columbia, originally consisted of vocalist Nick Gilder, guitarist Jim McCulloch, bassist Budd Marr, keyboardist Dan Gaudin and drummer John Booth. The new lineup recorded Sweeney Todd's second album, If Wishes Were Horses, which includes the third version of Roxy Roller.

* Nicholas George "Nick" Gilder (born 21 December 1951), is an English-Canadian musician who first came to prominence as the frontman for the glam rock band Sweeney Todd. He later had a successful solo career as a singer/songwriter.
Born in London, England, Gilder was raised in Vancouver. He began his career as front-man for the glam rock band Sweeney Todd, which later briefly featured a very young Bryan Adams. Sweeney Todd had a number one hit, "Roxy Roller", that held on to the top spot in the Canadian music charts for three weeks in 1975. It went on to win a Juno Award for "Best Selling Single" in 1977.

Feeling they had international scope, Gilder and fellow band member, guitarist and songwriting partner, James McCulloch left the band and signed a US record deal. It was in his second solo album that spawned the hit, "Hot Child in the City", that gave Gilder chart success in the United States. That song went to No.1 both in Canada and the US. It also earned him two more Juno Awards: "Single of the Year" and for "Most Promising Male Vocalist of the Year" in Canada as well as a People's Choice Award in the US. It stalled outside the Top 40 in the United Kingdom, though it was featured on Top of the Pops and also in a Hot Gossip dance routine on The Kenny Everett Video Show. Ещё одна группа из Британии была очень популярна в 1972-1973 годах,она тоже была из бригады глэм-роковых(хотя у них ещё синтезаторы была очень в почёте,ну и музыку им писали будущие легендарные авторы Moroder-Belotte).

The group's finest moment came after their producer and manager Roger Easterby came across an advance copy of "Son of My Father", a song written by Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte—Bellotte wrote English lyrics for Michael Holm's self-penned hit "Nachts Scheint Die Sonne" (which he sang) but Moroder wrote the music on the original as confirmed on the sheet music for the song. Convinced of its potential, he secured the option to rush record the group's own cover version in competition with the original. The result was a number one hit in the UK Singles Chart for three weeks in February 1972. It was one of the first hit singles to feature a Moog synthesizer, which in this case was programmed and played by studio engineer and record producer Chris Thomas. A different account was given Chicory Tip's Rick Foster, who stated in an interview that the Moog was played by the musician who joined them on Top Of The Pops, whose name he could not remember.[2] The single sold over one million copies by July 1972, and was awarded a gold disc.

"Son of My Father" and "What's Your Name" were both recorded at George Martin's Air Studios.
