Concert at the Queens Theatre, Blackpool. There were so many fans outside the theatre, blocking every entrance, that the Beatles had to go through a builder's yard, up across some scaffolding and across to the roof of the theatre, from there they were lowered into the wings through a trap door.

Defending Brian, John affirms: "If Brian says there should be no publicity for "Help!" then that's the way it should be. The record got to number one didn't it?"
1966
The government of South Africa establishes a prohibition of radio broadcasting Beatles records, because of John's declarations about religion. The decision was maintained for several years.
1967
George attends Ravi Shankar's concert at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
Maureen celebrates her 21st birthday with her family. Ringo presents her with a sapphire bracelet.

Apple's press office in London closes. From now on Apple Corps Ltd's only task is to collect Beatle royalties and deal with unfinished Beatles problems.
1972
Paul and Wings' concert at Messuhalli, Helsinki, Finland ("Wings Over Europe 1972 Tour").
In Kassel, West Germany, Yoko's exhibition "Documenta 5" continues.
1973

"Melody Maker" reports the story of the discovery of the 36-track Hamburg tapes from the Beatles' Star Club performance.
1980
John and Yoko return to the recording studios. At the Hit Factory in New York, they begin sessions for the Double Fantasy album. Songs recorded on the first day include: "(Just Like) Starting Over"; "Kiss Kiss Kiss"; "Every Man Has A Woman Who Loves Him" and "I'm Moving On".
During recordings, if a Beatles song ever came over the radio, which played quietly in the background, John would stop and reminisce about it.
1982

1983
New York's Museum of Broadcasting showcase Beatles achieve clips documentary "The Beatles
Early Days" and several other films from the museum's personal collection, including the "Ed Sullivan Show" appearances and excerpts from their Washington, D.C. concert on February 11, 1964.
Abbey Road's Number Two studio presents "The Beatles At Abbey Road", 3 times a day.
Linda's "Photographs" exhibition is shown at the Barry Stern galleries in Paddington, New South Wales, Australia.
In the US, the Baldwin/Wallace college radio station BW88 broadcasts a Yoko Ono marathon program, including an interview with the Lennon's personal assistant Elliot Mintz.
1984

The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.
1989
Ringo and his All-Starr Band concert at the Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs, New York ("North American Tour").
On the Italian RAI UNO TV music program "Notte Rock", a portion of the show is devoted to Paul, featuring excerpts from the Playhouse Theatre press conference of July 27th.
1991
In the UK, BBC2 airs the documentary "Power Of Music", which features footage of Paul working with mentally handicapped children.
1992

The photo exhibition entitled "Linda McCartney's Sixties" continues at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

The exhibit Linda McCartney retrospective is displayed at the Kunst Haus Wien in Vienna, Austria. The new exhibition is the first comprehensive retrospective of Linda McCartney’s work featuring 190 of her iconic photographs.
