Epstein makes it clear to the British press that there will be no more UK Beatles tours in 1965 (decision which will turn out to be reversed). He announces that Cilla Black will make her debut in pantomime in "Little Red Riding Hood", Billy J. Kramer with the Dakotas will open in "Mother Goose", and Gerry and the Pacemakers in "Cinderella".

In New York, George writes the song "The Day The World Gets Around".

George's scene in the Rutles' movie is filmed.
1980
Jack Douglas has the backing musicians meet the "mystery" artist that they will be recording with. John and Yoko greet them and rehearse the songs for the album Double Fantasy.

New York's Museum of Broadcasting showcase Beatles achieve clips documentary "The Beatles Early Days" and several other films from the museum's personal collection, including the "Ed Sullivan Show" appearances and excerpts from their Washington, D.C. concert on February 11, 1964.
Abbey Road's Number Two studio presents "The Beatles At Abbey Road", 3 times a day.
Linda's "Photographs" exhibition is shown at the Barry Stern galleries in Paddington, New South Wales, Australia.
1984
The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.
1986
"Press" debuts at number 66 (US Billboard).
BBC1 transmits the "Heartbeat '86" concert, featuring George (recorded March 15, 1986).
1989
Ringo and his All-Starr Band concert at the Lake Compounce Amusement Park, Bristol, Connecticut ("North American Tour").
1991
In the UK, Apple wins a London High Court injunction to prevent EMI from releasing The Beatles 1962-1966 and The Beatles 1967-1970 on CD. EMI files an appeal which reaches the High Court on September 6th.
In the US, ABC TV's show "In Concert '91" airs brief footage of one of Paul's Unplugged concerts.
1998
In the UK, Paul appears on the front page of the "People" newspaper with an article about his plea to save monkeys.
Mojo Magazine publishes the results from a nation-wide survey asking "Who is your favourite recording artist of all time?" The Beatles came out on top. Rounding out the Top 5 are Elvis Presley 2nd, Frank Sinatra 3rd, Queen 4th and Elton John 5th.
1999
The photo exhibition entitled "Linda McCartney's Sixties" continues at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.
2000
Liverpool music store Rushworth and Dreaper closes after 150 years of trading. The store had become famous after supplying the Beatles and other Liverpool group's with musical instruments.
2013
The exhibit Linda McCartney retrospective is displayed at the Kunst Haus Wien in Vienna, Austria. The new exhibition is the first comprehensive retrospective of Linda McCartney’s work featuring 190 of her iconic photographs.
2014
Paul performs in concert at Target Field, Minneapolis, MN (2014 Out There Tour).
