George joins Bob Dylan at Columbia Recording Studios for Dylan's album New Morning.
1977
Start of sessions for London Town LP at Record Plant Mobile Studio, aboard the yatch "Fair Carol", Virgin Islands.
Neil Innes begins writing songs for what is to become the TV special "All You Need Is Cash", the parody of the Beatles' career as told by the group The Rutles.
1980
John acquires the possession of his new sailing boat, the "Royal Isis". He spends the rest of month learning how to sail.
1982

1987
Paul appoints Richard Ogden as his new manager.
1989
George stops the release of the home video "Rock'n'Roll - The Greatest Years 1971", due to the inauthorized use of his song "My Sweet Lord", from the "Bangla Desh" concert film.
1990
US album release: Some Time In New York City on CD (Capitol CDP 7 46782/3 2).
Taking a break from recording the second Travelling Wilbury's album, George appears on stage with Eric Clapton at his Los Angeles concert. George plays guitar on the songs "Crossroads" and "Sunshine Of Your Love".
1991
Paul and Linda make an unannounced visit on the BBC Radio One's "The Simon Bates Show".
1992
In the US, Nike transmits another commerical with Beatles ties. This time they use John's "Instant Karma".
1993
Paul's concert at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia ("New World Tour").
US home video release: "John Lennon & The Plastic Ono Band - Rock & Roll Revival, Toronto".
1999
Paul's art exhibition opens at the Lyz Art Forum, Siegen, Germany, with 75 of his 500 private paintings. It will run through July 25th.
BBC Radio Two begins a three-day program on the Beatles. On this night, there are the programs "The Beatles Legacy" and "The Beatles Fantasy Concert". The latter program features a compilation of live concerts recorded between 1963 and the Apple rooftop performance from January 30, 1969.
2013
James McCartney performs in concert at The Kessler Theatre, Dallas, TX (US Tour).
A rare VOX guitar played by both John and George is displayed at the Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons. John gave the guitar to “Magic Alex” Mardas. A plaque affixed to the back of the guitar reads “To Magic Alex Alexi thank you for been a friend 2-5-1967 John.”
2014
Paul performs in concert at Estadio Nacional, San José, Costa Rica (2014 Out There Tour).
In New York City, the Donald and Mary Oenslager Gallery runs in the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, at Lincoln Center. The library exhibition include tour memorabilia, historic film clips, video interviews with musicians, as well as interactive exhibits.
