Paul's concert at the Philadelphia Spectrum ("Wings Over America Tour").
After the concert, Paul and the band fly back to their base in New York.
1977
The Beatles' episode of the Tony Palmer history of popular music "All You Need Is Love" is aired across the ITV network. The show, "Mighty Good", retells the history of the group and focuses on their influence on comtemporary musicians.
George Martin has been named the musical director for the upcoming film "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band".
1978
At the Baynard Gallery, the exhibition of Linda's photograghs continues.
Paul and Linda appear on "The Simon Bates Show", simultaneously transmitted on BBC Radio One and Two, to promote the new Wings album London Town and the single "With A Little Luck".
1979
At the Cannes Film Festival, The Who's "rockumentary" film "The Kids Are Alright", featuring cameo appearances by Ringo, receives its worldwide premiere screening.
1982
In New York, Crown International Pictures re-releases the 1978 film "Sextette", starring Mae West.
1983
George Martin appears on BBC Radio One to promote his book "Making Music".
1984
The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.
Ringo makes an unannounced appearance as a surprise guest on the Thames/ITV network comedy quiz show "What's My Line?"
The Picture Music International home video of "Ready, Steady Go! Volume 2" is released. It features the Beatles performing "She Loves You"; "I'll Get You" and "Twist And Shout", from their October 4, 1963 appearance.
1988
Paul's film "Give My Regards To Broad Street" receives its British television premiere on the ITV network.
In Norway, a 10 minute interview with George is transmitted on the NRK program "Pa Hengende Haret".
1997
Ringo's concert at Breslin Center, East Lansing, Michigan.
In the US, during the week-long programming of VH-1's focus on Paul, they air a show hosted by John Fugelsang called "The Paul McCartney Video Collection", containing 10 of Paul's promo videos.
George arrives in New York to help promote Ravi Shankar's Chants Of India. John Fugelsang conducts a two and a half hour interview for the program "George & Ravi - Yin & Yang".

In the US, Mercury Records distribute the Electronic Video Press Kit (EPK) for Ringo's album Vertical Man.

Paul's art exhibition at the Kunstforum Lyz in Hamburg with 75 of his 500 private paintings.
