On his night off from the current Albert Hall series, Eric turned up on Saturday (20 May) in the Hampshire countryside to appear alongside some old friends at the Highclere Rocks Picnic Concert.

Appearing as part of the Band du Lac, he performed Knock on Wood, Reconsider Baby, Stormy Monday and Wonderful Tonight. Roger Waters then joined the band for Wish you Were Here and Comfortably Numb with Eric on lead.

Waters then left but the band carried on with Whiter Shade of Pale, Cocaine and Get Up Stand Up. They encored with Bob Dylan's Rainy Day Women.

Качество звука конечно... как бы помягче... но подборка хороша! оч. впечатлил джем в "ми" с первого CD, оба джема на dobro и блюз-джемы в фа миноре и ре миноре со второго, Ain't Going Down и Double Trouble с третьего, ну да ладно, всё не буду перечислять :-) короче - я очень и очень рад :-)))

Roger Waters joined Eric Clapton stage last night and played 2 Pink Floyd songs, 'Wish You Were Here and Comfortably Numb. Nick Mason also joined the fun. The highlite was Roger Waters appearing on stage through 'Get Up Stand Up (Bob Marley) and played a beer can with a drum stick! Roger also played accoustic guitar during Eric Clapton's song 'Cocaine. The concert was a benefit for the 'Countryside Alliance.
