Одна из арт роковых групп которую я не люблю.
Нравятся только два самых отстойных диска, это 84 и 85 гг, потому что похожи на Дженезис.
Слушал все диски..
Отталкивает вокал Джедди, да и слишком навороченная для 70х..
Из-за навороченности не выношу и Джентл Джайнт и Магеллан, а так же последние работы Ситизен Кейн.
Так же не нравится из-за писклявого вокала группа Павловс Дог

RUSH: 'R30' DVD To Surface This Fall - Sep. 1, 2005

RUSH will be releasing the highly anticipated "R30" DVD in late fall 2005. "R30" will feature the sold-out concert that RUSH played in Frankfurt, Germany in October 2004 during their 30th anniversary tour.

In other news, RUSH drummer Neil Peart is currently working on the follow-up to his instructional drum video, "A Work In Progress". The new video will be issued as a DVD and is set for release in late fall 2005. The new DVD is produced by Hudson Music and is entitled "Anatomy of Drum Solo".

Какое совпадение: буквально пару дней назад переписал пару дисков с mp3 Rush :) Группа хорошая, мне понравилось. Правда на первом альбоме нельзя не заметить сильный закос вокала под Планта, посему я решил слушать их с последнего альбома, который у меня есть - тройного концертника Different Stages - чтоб узнать, к чему же они пришли :)

World Television Premiere of the 'Rush R-30' Concert

"Invisible airwaves will crackle with life" when VH1 Classic presents the world television premiere of "Rush R-30, " a DVD concert performance from the band's $21 million grossing sell-out 30th Anniversary Tour. The concert will air as part of VH1 Classic's salute to Rush the weekend of Friday, January 13.

The "Rush R-30" concert was filmed with 14 hi-definition cameras in widescreen format at the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany on September 24, 2004. The concert presentation makes up the core of the "Rush R-30" two-DVD package released November 22, 2005 by Zoe Vision/Rounder Records.

The concert's 22-song set list in the concert spans Rush's incredibly diverse 30-year career, representing 17 of the band's 18 studio albums. Electrifying performances include "Hemispheres, " "The Spirit of Radio, " "Anthem, " "Tom Sawyer, " "Subdivisions, " "Earthshine, " "2112, " "Limelight, " plus tracks from the band's 2004 covers EP Feedback including "Summertime Blues" and "Crossroads."

In addition, VH1 Classic will air encore presentations of "Hangin' With Rush, " featuring in-studio interviews with band members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson discussing the Frankfurt concert, new album and tour plans for 2006 and how they were paid only ten dollars for their first performance as a band in a church basement in 1968.

Rush "Rush Replay X3 [DVD]" (box set includes the concert videos "Exit ... Stage Left," "Grace Under Pressure," "A Show of Hands")

Rush Replay should be one of the best DVD concert releases of the Summer. (Technically very late Spring). This 3 DVD/1 CD box set will include the DVD versions of "Exit... Stage Left," "Grace Under Pressure," and "A Show of Hands." The CD in the box set is the unreleased soundtrack CD of the "Grace Under Pressure."

Before Rush Replay all three concerts were on VHS. These were extremely hard to get your hands on. Now, thanks to Alex Lifeson and Mike Fraser, you can enjoy these classic concerts in 5.1 surround sound and remastered visuals.

Exit... Stage Left:

The first DVD in Rush Replay is "Exit... Stage Left," which was filmed at The Forum in Montreal, Quebec. Anyone who owns the Exit... Stage Left CD knows how totally awesome the concert was. The CD and the DVD are radically different though. Lets look at the track listing of each.

Grace Under Pressure:

Out of the three concerts in Rush Replay, Grace Under Pressure is the only one without a live CD. (The CD as I mentioned earlier is part of Rush Replay). This DVD was filmed in 1984, at the Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Canada. Here is the DVD track listing:

This Rush concert was filmed in Rio de Janeiro on November 23, 2002 during Rush's Vapor Trails Tour. This is an excellent concert and is definitely worth buying. The only question is: To get just the concert (this product), or to get the concert, a 50-minute Rush in Brazil documentary, and some multi-camera views of YYZ, O Baterista, and La Villa Strangiato (the original Rush In Rio 2-DVD set). I'm a big documentary fan so I would buy the original Rush In Rio, but for brand new Rush fans who just want a good concert, this is the DVD.

Rush In Rio was filmed on the last date of the Vapor Trails Tour. Not only does Rush's music make this a good show, you also have 40,000 chanting fans in the audience singing along with the music. Another Rush first is that this is the entire concert on DVD. In the past, a few songs were not included on the DVD, this time though you get 2 hours and 45 minutes of solid Rush music. 29 songs in total and they include:

This is a great DVD, so all you have to do is decide whether or not you want the documentary (which I highly recommend) or if you don't.

Впервые услышал RUSH году в 78-79-м. У друга появился двойник “All The World’s A Stage”, он был от него в восторге. А я как-то не вдохновился. Потом попадались ещё какие-то альбомы, но так и не "зашли" мне эти ребята. Может сказалась моя общая нелюбовь к арт-року, пусть и c приставкой "хард"?

Раш вообще группа отчасти на любителя, честно говоря. Я поначалу тоже не врубился, а потом вроде ничего, покатило. Попробуйте Moving Pictures и Roll the Bones расслушать, авось понравится...

Пожалуй, мой любимый их альбом.
Тоже всячески рекомендую.

А я согласен Old Bluesman. Альбом "Moving Pictures" (1981) и мой самый любимый!

И еще вот этот - "Permanent Waves"! Классный альбом!

Весной этого года выйдет очередной, девятнадцатый по счету, студийный альбом канадской рок-группы Rush, ставшей классикой жанра еще в 80-е годы прошлого века. Пока неизвестно ни название, ни трэк-лист альбома, однако продюсер диска Ник Раскуленич (Nick Raskulinecz), работавший ранее с Foo Fighters, на страницах сайта MetroPulse.com заявил, что это будет лучшая работа группы за последние 15 лет.

По словам продюсера, он всегда был поклонником Rush и от предложения поработать с канадцами над их новым альбомом, поступившего в середине прошлого года, отказаться не смог. "Сон стал явью, они были одной из моих любимых групп со времен, когда я начал слушать музыку в возрасте 10 лет. И тут вдруг я сижу на кухне с Гедди Ли (Geddy Lee - бас-гитарист и вокалист Rush), а Алекс Лайфсон (Alex Lifeson - гитарист группы) рядом пьет кофе, и мы говорим о записи альбома", - рассказал Раскуленич.

Музыкантам группы, добавил он, "нужен был кто-то, кто бы давал им пинка под зад, и у меня это получалось". "Ведь мы провели замечательное время, и я словно стал четвертым участником группы", - заметил продюссер.

Он сообщил, что новый релиз Rush выдержан в духе старых записей коллектива, таких как альбомы "2112" (1977 год), "Hemispheres" (1978 год) и "Permanent Waves" (1980 год).
