Paul and Linda attend Dave Mason's concert at the Hammersmith Odeon in London.
1976
George is found guilty of unconscious plagiarism of "He's So Fine" on "My Sweet Lord", and given a fine of $587,000 for damages.
Having owned the song publishing right of Buddy Holly for five years, Paul organizes the first Buddy Holly Week, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Holly's birth.
1980
Day Twenty-eight of Double Fantasy sessions: Additional work on "(Just Like) Starting Over" and "Give Me Something".
Paul makes preparations for the annual Buddy Holly Week celebration.
1982
Dressed in genuine fifties attire, Paul and Linda kick off the annual Buddy Holly Week at Londond's Lycreum.
1983
New York's Museum of Broadcasting showcase Beatles achieve clips documentary "The Beatles Early Days" and several other films from the museum's personal collection, including the "Ed Sullivan Show" appearances and excerpts from their Washington, D.C. concert on February 11, 1964.
Abbey Road's Number Two studio presents "The Beatles At Abbey Road", 3 times a day.
1984
The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.
1985
Ringo becomes the first Beatle to be a grandfather. Ringo's daughter-in-law Sarah, wife to Ringo and Maureen's son Zak, gives birth to Tatia Jayne Starkey.
1987
The "Beatle City" exhibition runs at the West End marketplace in Dallas, Texas.
At the NFT (National Film Theatre) in London, a celebration honoring Handmade Films. All of Handmade films are shown from "Monty Python's Meaning Of Life" to the current release, "Track 29".
Paul and Linda visit the annual EMI Records sales conference in Brighton. He reveals the tracks to be on his upcoming greatest hits album.
1988
In the US, NBC TV's program "Today" airs Part Two of an interview with Albert Goldman, author of "The Lives Of John Lennon".
At Stefano's restaurant in London, Paul joins the Crickets on stage to start the annual Buddy Holly Week celebration. Camera crews from TV AM and NBC TV's "Today" capture the event.
1989
Paul, Linda and band take a break from rehearsals to attend the Buddy Holly Week luncheon, held at the Talk Of The Town in Parker Street, near Holborn, London.
1993
At Abbey Road Studios in London, Ringo records a guest appearance for the ITV special "Cilla - A Celebration".
1995

At Sotheby's auction in London, the latest auction is entitled "The Cynthia Lennon Collection - Part 2".
1996
In the UK, the ITV network program "Chart Show" airs a color version of the Beatles promo film for the song "Paperback Writer". Apple releases the clip to promote the forthcoming Anthology video box set.
1997
Derek Taylor dies at his home in Suffolk, England, of cancer of the esophagus.
Photographic exhibition of Linda at the Museum of the City of San Francisco.
1998
Ringo and His All-Starr Band perform on the annual "Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Telethon".
2009
BBC Four airs an encore performance of the program "How The Beatles Rocked the Kremlin".
2013
In Los Angeles, the exhibition "The Early Beatles Collection," opens at the Leica Gallery, featuring images Astrid Kirchherr took during the filming of "A Hard Day's Night" in 1964 for Stern Magazine, as well as some of the images she took of the musicians during their Hamburg, Germany, period in 1960.
A group of original negatives featuring some of the Beatles, as well as other celebrities and rock icons is to be auctioned at Addison's Autumn Catalogue Sale.
A rare photo book signed John Lennon has reportedly sold on eBay. The book, a copy of Lennon's book "In His Own Write", appeared on the auction site earlier this month and quickly racked up 46 bids, totaling out at $5,600.
The exhibit Linda McCartney retrospective is displayed at the Kunst Haus Wien in Vienna, Austria. The new exhibition is the first comprehensive retrospective of Linda McCartney’s work featuring 190 of her iconic photographs.
