1967
Chuck Berry performance at the Saville Theatre. Support acts: Del Shannon, the Canadians, and Hamilton and the Movement. Brian, John and Ringo attend. There's a big trouble at the concert, following Brian's dismissal of the house manager, Michael Bullock.
1968
Paul, Jane, Ringo, and Maureen travel to Rishikesh, India to study Transcendental Meditation with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. On arrival in Delhi after travelling through five time zones, they are surrounded by the press and have to stop to talk to them.
1969
Yellow Submarine LP, 5th week in the ranking (UK Record Retailer).
1971
Royal Courts of Justice (Court 16), London. Beginning of Paul's trial against John, George and Ringo to seek the appointment of an official receiver to take over the Beatles' financial affairs and wrest control from Allen Klein.
1973
Paul begins work on his TV special "James Paul McCartney" at the ATV Television Studios, at Elstree in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. It is the first time a major rock and roll star has starred in a prime-time show aimed for both UK and US audiences.
1977
Ringo is a guest presenter at the annual Grammy Awards.
1979
George has an accident with his tractor on his Friar Park estate. The brakes fail and he is thrown from the tractor, whereupon it runs over his foot. Rushed to Reading hospital, X-rays show that George has not broken any bones, just bruised.
Fred Seaman begins working as an assistant for John and Yoko.
1987
Taj Majal's concert at the Palimino Club, Hollywood. George, Bob Dylan, John Fogerty and Jesse Ed Davis join them on stage.
1990
US album release: The John Lennon Collection (Capitol CDP 7 91516 2) on CD.
Paul performs in concert at The Omni, Atlanta, Georgia ("Get Back Tour").
1996
Recording of "Souvenir" begins in Sussex, England.
1997
At the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford, Yoko's art exhibition "Have You Seen The Horizon Lately" is on display.
1999
George Martin begins a tour called "The Making Of Sgt. Pepper", at the Calvin Theater, Northampton, Minnesota.
2008
Q magazine and HMV compiled a list of the best British albums ever recorded. The Beatles had five albums in the Top 50 with Revolver topping them at #4.
