1. Насчет Макки. Неважно, что написано в буклете (я и не смотрел). Ведь если в буклете может быть ошибка, а в песне якобы правильно, то с другой стороны, в песне может быть неправильно, а в буклете по знакомству специально для Пола могли подправить.
Вот слушаю я песню, и нет там we're livin', хоть убей. А есть там we live in. Все таки we're отличается по произношению от we.
Песня, я думаю, здесь первична.
2. She don't care. Здесь мне, как любителю блюза, ничего даже не режет слух. Это явное заимствование из черного блюза, а именно сленга афро-американцев, которое зачастую встречается у всех белых музыкантов, когда их музыка основана на блюзе.
Один пример. В блюзе Бадди Гая "She's a Superstar" есть такой куплет:
My baby's a superstar, and I love her like I do my guitar My baby's a superstar, and I love her like I do my guitar I don't care what they say about another woman, I don't care who she are
Еще одна знаменитая грамматическая ошибка (в этот раз это никакой не американизм, или Ливерпулизм, а просто ляп). Пол Маккартни поет в песне "Live and Let Die":

Можно сказать world in which we live, либо world which we live in, но никак не world in which we live in!

Beatles' songs and performances were, uniquely, that androgyny was sexy and that sex was fun.
The Beatles seemed to offer sexuality that was guileless, ebullient and fun ... theirs was a vision of sexuality freed from the shadow of gender inequality because the group mocked the gender distinctions that bifurcated the American landscape into "his" and "hers." (Ehrenreich et al. 102)

Портретное сходство не так важно для многотонного памятника, который видно из космоса и из Google Earth. Портретное сходство с Битлз в целом несомненно.
Важно другое - нашей любимой группе создан огромный памятник, недаром в первом линке событие наводит на религиозные размышления, ни больше, ни меньше!
Творение еще 3 месяца будет находиться в мастерской ваятеля, и у него будет время по слезным просьбам девушек планеты расширить Полу глаза до наступления узнаваемости.
Насчет Джорджа и Эрика, я вижу только абстрактное сходство и с тем, и с другим, а на самом деле у них есть много общего. Опять же, в космическом масштабе это мелочи.

Нет, это не в коем случае не халтура, это известный скульптор, и сделал все на свои деньги, не по заказу, даже место для постоянной экспозиции купил сам.
Вот знаменитая скульптура Дэвида Адикса, "Виртуоз", одна из достопримечательностей Хьюстона.
Просто он на самом деле любит Битлз. Кстати, вблизи они не выглядят никоим образом как монумент, просто значительно абстрактнее, чем классическая скульптура.

I'm a great EC fan - has been at his concerts in Houston, Dallas and London. Bought tickets for the concert in Moscow on Red Square. The concert was cancelled, but does EC know that nobody got their money back for their tickets, and it is a month after the concert date already? I don't care much for money back, I'm OK, but a lot of his Russian fans are being had by the promoter. They still love EC, don't get me wrong, but maybe EC could say a public word, which would help. Or just come and do a concert? We all still have the tickets.

Все-таки mp3 этого выступления будет не то - купите DVD Concert for George - не пожалеете. Пол начал с укулеле, а когда Пол, казалось бы, заканчивал, вступил Эрик с потрясающей гитарой (как всегда). Эта песня получила Грэмми, или была номинирована, не помню. Ну и там еще 25 прекрасных песен. Mp3 в данном случае совсем не то.
