Спасибо!

У меня случайно оказалась эта песня...там барабаны звучат очень уж модерново..вот и засомневался, они ли это.
Но если это было записано именно в 1986, тогда всё понятно.
Здорово!

Beach Boys' Bad VibrationsBeach Boys' Bad Vibrations
Fri Jan 13

Forget the California girls, it's two California men the Beach Boys are after.

The surf-happy rockers are seeking more than $20 million in damages from two men who allegedly stole photos, recordings and other band memorabilia from a warehouse with the intent of hawking the goods online.

The Beach Boys' company, Brother Records Inc., filed the suit in federal court in Los Angeles Wednesday on behalf of the surviving members. The suit targets Allan Gaba, the owner of the North Hollywood warehouse from which the goods were supposedly swiped, and Roy Sciacca, Gaba's friend and alleged accomplice.

The lawsuit claims Gaba and Sciacca violated the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band's copyright and trademark rights, as well as its right of publicity.

The Beach Boys had been using Gaba's warehouse to store musical instruments, original and rare compositions, photos, contracts and other mementos amassed since the band's inception in 1961. Per court papers, the Boys cleared out their goods from the storage facility in 1994, but found that 13 of the 25 boxes were missing in action. The boxes in question contained such items as Brian Wilson and Mike Love's contract for the 1968 song "Do It Again" and photos of the band with George Harrison, according to Los Angeles' City News Service.

The suit alleges that Gaba removed them without permission. Gaba has not commented on the lawsuit.

For his part, Sciacca has claimed he purchased, not stole, the memorabilia from the Grammy-winning band at a garage sale nearly two decades ago.

The Beach Boys say that last October, Sciacca had contacted the Britain-based auction house Cooper Owen and attempted to put the items up for sale. At the behest of the band's attorneys, the online auction was canceled just a half hour before its scheduled start.

The Los Angeles Police Department and the FBI were asked to investigate the alleged theft shortly thereafter, according to the lawsuit, but when authorities searched Sciacca's office, there was no sign of the missing memorabilia, only a list of the disputed items.

UPCOMING BEACH BOYS CD TO FEATURE CONTRIBUTIONS FROM ENTIRE GROUP

A new Beach Boys compilation CD featuring new solo material by the Brian Wilson, Mike Love and Al Jardine seems like the closest thing to a reunion fans are going to see this year. The still-untitled disc will be made available exclusively through Hallmark Gold Crown stores starting on May 15th. The CD features five tunes from a 1989 concert featuring Brian and Carl Wilson, Love, Jardine and Bruce Johnston. Two tracks from a 1974 show include Dennis Wilson. Carl and Dennis Wilson died in 1983 and 1997, respectively.

The still unnamed new Beach Boys set features the following tunes:

"Intro," "Dance, Dance, Dance," "Surfer Girl" "Kokomo," "Car Medley Intro," "I Get Around," all from 1989 -- along with "Wouldn't It Be Nice" and "Good Vibrations," from 1974.

The three new songs include Brian Wilson's 2005 re-recording of his long-unreleased "The Spirit Of Rock And Roll," track that was first performed on the Beach Boys'1986 25th anniversary TV special and recorded in 1990 as a duet with Bob Dylan.

Al Jardine's 2002 tune 'PT Cruiser" which had a limited internet run, features several of the group's longtime touring musicians along with Jardine's sons, Matt and Adam.

Mike Love's contribution, titled "Cool Head, Warm Heart," which features his son Christian on backing vocals, was one of the tracks originally slated for his upcoming Unleash The Love solo album.

Early word is that Hallmark is also considering re-releasing the CD again in 2007 to a larger distribution, although some insiders are saying that the set may actually be a sampler to a two-disc set of rarities due out later this year.

Mike Love told us that although he and cousin Brian Wilson seem to always be duking it out in the courtroom over a variety of issues, he's always ready and willing to collaborate whenever Wilson calls:"I never rule it out with Brian, because although I know he's had his ups and downs emotionally, mentally, and health issues like that, I know what he brings to the table, and, and he kinda knows what I do, and were the conditions to be positive towards getting together and doing a project, then I think it'd be great."

Brian Wilson, who's taking an extended sabbatical from the road, is currently recording what he's been calling a full-on "rock and roll record," that may be out by year's end.

Al Jardine amp; the Endless Summer Band, with special guest featuring Dean Torrance of Jan amp; Dean, will be performing on March 17th in Cerritos, California at the Cerritos Center For The Performing Arts.

The Beach Boys kick off their first official shows of 2006 on April 22nd in West Point, New York at Eisenhower Hall.

NEW BEACH BOYS CD RELEASED

Although the new Beach Boys album, titled Songs From Here And Back, is scheduled to be released on May 15th, many cities around the country are already selling the disc. The collection, which is available exclusively through Hallmark Gold Crown stores, features classic live performances from the group recorded at shows from 1989 and 1974. The 10-track CD also features three new solo tunes by group co-founders Brian Wilson, Mike Love, and Al Jardine.

Al Jardine told us that he's thrilled with live portions of the disc: "It has the Hallmark stamp on it. The Beach Boys live in concert stamp. And it's charming. I'll give it this; I'll say one thing, we have a helluva inventory. We have a library of great performances. And those are Universal Amphitheatre performances on there. And I think those are some of the best live concert performances that we have."

Among the classic Beach Boys live hits included on Songs From Here And Back include "Dance, Dance, Dance," "Surfer Girl," "Kokomo," "I Get Around," "Wouldn't It Be Nice," and "Good Vibrations."

The three solo tunes, Wilson's "The Spirit Of Rock And Roll," Love's "Cool Head, Warm Heart," and Jardine's "PT Cruiser," while all very different from each other, all sound as if they could all be modern day group recordings.

The disc, which sells for about $8, will have a limited run through at the Hallmark Gold Crown stores through July 23rd.

The Beach Boys' chief archivist and producer Alan Boyd has announced that the group will be starting their own official beachboyscentral.com website, which will allow fans the chance to access to various downloads from their studio vaults. There has been no launch date announced for the site yet, and no specifics as to whether the site will feature studio outtakes, live shows, or both.

The Beach Boys -- featuring Mike Love and longtime member Bruce Johnston -- will be playing next on Friday and Saturday, May 5th and 6th, in Galveston, Texas at the Grand Opera House.

Original Beach Boys members reunite
Tue Jun 13

LOS ANGELES - The surviving founders of the Beach Boys — Brian Wilson, Mike Love and Al Jardine — made their first public appearance together in 10 years Tuesday, standing atop the historic Capitol Records building in Hollywood.

The trio gathered to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the landmark "Pet Sounds" album and the recent double-platinum certification of 2003's "Sounds of Summer: The Very Best of the Beach Boys." The trio was joined by veteran band member Bruce Johnston and former Beach Boy David Marks.

"It's always good to do this while we're living," Jardine quipped to reporters before the event, in which band members were presented with framed plaques each containing two platinum vinyl records.

Plaques also were issued posthumously to Wilson's brothers, Carl and Dennis — both original Beach Boys members.

The reunion of the Beach Boys came after decades of animosity between Love and Wilson, who are cousins.

Love sued Wilson in November, saying Wilson "shamelessly misappropriated (Love's) songs, likeness and the Beach Boys trademark, as well as the `Smile' album itself" when Wilson was promoting 2004's "Smile." Love previously sued his cousin in the mid-1990s, seeking more songwriting credit on the band's back catalog.

The two shared a friendly rapport Tuesday, standing side by side and patting each other on the back. In thanking his bandmates, Love lauded "my cousin Brian Wilson, for his incredible abilities that gave us all this amazing life."

When asked if all hatchets have been buried, Love pointed to his back.

"The hatchets are right here," he said with a laugh.

Loved added that between the band members "there's issues that arise, and you resolve them over time."

Of the reunion, he said: "We've been together, just in different configurations and different situations. But this is a great one because everybody's in a celebratory mood, everybody's on their good behavior and everybody's enjoying the fact that our records have been recognized even 40 years after we first put (them) out."

A second greatest-hits compilation, called "The Warmth of the Sun," is planned for release next spring, Love and Wilson said.

Beach boys - очень привлекательная группа.
Послушайте песню Tears in the Morning (Я так люблю эту песню и еще много других их песен!!!) из альбома Sunflower 1970 года. Кстати, они сами считают его своим лучшим альбомом.
