Stella McCartney Welcomes a Baby Boy

Fashion designer Stella McCartney has given birth to a baby boy, PEOPLE has learned.

"Stella and Alasdhair Willis are thrilled to announce the birth of their healthy and happy baby boy born in the early hours of February 25th in London," the couple said in a statement.

The couple's rep tells PEOPLE: "Both mother and father are thrilled with the news."

McCartney, 33, wed Willis, 34, a former magazine publisher, in August 2003.

Despite her pregnancy, McCartney managed to put together a new collection, to be unveiled in Paris next week(Thursday, March 3). "Stella worked on and was able to complete the collection before giving birth," People quoted her publicist as saying.

The show will go on, but it wasn't known whether McCartney would be able to attend.

Beatles' Offspring Top Richest Young People in Music

Late Beatle George Harrison's son Dhani is officially the wealthiest young person in British music, after inheriting a staggering $264 million fortune from his father.

Ex-Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and her soccer star husband David have claimed second place with a massive $141 million fortune, followed by Harrison's late band mate John Lennon's son Sean at number three.

Experts predict singing sensation Joss Stone will top the list next year because despite not making it into the under-30s list's top ten, she is still one of Britain's highest musical earners with $9 million at only 17 years old.

The Top Ten Music Millionaires Under 30 are:

2. David and Victoria Beckham - $141 million
3. Sean Lennon - $37 million
4. Coldplay - $18 million each

SIR Paul McCartney is said to be heartbroken at the collapse of his eldest daughter's marriage.

Six years after photographer Mary, 35, now a mum-of-two, wed television producer Alistair Donald, they are reported to have separated.

The couple met at school in Rye, East Sussex.

A friend of the former Beatle said: "It is very hard for Paul as he recognises the importance of a happy marriage."

Mary is well-known for taking moving shots of her mother Linda before she died from cancer.

Donald became close to the McCartney family after co-directing a film about Sir Paul's life.

Sir Paul McCartney's eldest daughter has separated from her husband. Mary McCartney and TV producer Alistair Donald, who married seven years ago, are both said to regard the split as temporary, however.

Alistair has moved out of the family's West London home, while his wife is staying on with children Arthur, five, and Elliot, two. According to media reports the weight of the McCartney name, along with the couple's respective careers, put pressure on their relationship. In recent years Mary has found growing success as a photographer, while her husband has struggled to establish himself in the world of broadcasting.

The pair made their vows in East Sussex back in 1998. The ceremony took place in a 12th-century church near Rye, where Mary spent her childhood with her siblings, Heather, Stella and James.
