Уэйкмана с сыном посетил в ноябре прошлого года. Как играет!

Читал,что помимо Уэйкмана в Йес возвращается и Трэвор Рэбин-Стиву трудновато уже играть все гитарные партии.

Что-то не заметил, хотя на концерте в Питере, именно Стив слажал в финале Owner Of A Lonely Heart, с импровизацией затянул. Но Бог мой! Какие они музыканты! Андерсон вообще как мальчик, голос совершенно не изменился.
А что дальше - второй Union? Тогда пригласили бы вообще всех, и Бэнкса и Хорошева и Кея и Шервуда. Брафорд, Хорн и Даунс сами придут.

Второй Union-не приведи Господь!Брафорд и в Кримсоне сейчас не участвует-других дел по горло.А остальных точно не будет (очень надеюсь,не люблю братские могилы).

А где пишут о том, что возвращается Тревор? На www.yesworld.com только инфа о Уэйкмане на нынешнее лето. Интересно, доедут ли они в классическом составе до нас? Что-то чует мое сердце...

This 90 minute DVD was filmed in two locations in Holland and brings together two of the leading lights in modern improvised music, the virtuoso Dutch pianist Michiel Borstlap and British drummer Bill Brufird. The main programme of approximately one hour of concert footage from Nijmegen is accompanied by a further half hour of backstage footage and bonus tracks from Maastricht.

Bill Bruford was a founding member of Yes through the years 1968-1972, and while with the band recorded five albums, each of which was more successful than its predecessor. When Bill left Yes in 1972 for King Crimson following the release of 'Close To The Edge', there were those who concluded that he'd taken leave of his senses. But it proved an astute musical move. When King Crimson's enigmatic leader Robert Fripp decided to split the band after three tumultuous albums and move on to other projects, Bill moved to playing countless sessions, and was also briefly a member of the bands National Health, Gong and, more famously, Genesis, where he played alongside Phil Collins, who had just stepped up to the microphone following the departure of Peter Gabriel. Bill was the drummer in the live Genesis situation and was with the band for the majority of 1976 while the band toured their album 'A Trick Of The Tail'.

Volume 1 - 2000s is the first in a two volume anthology of concert footage of Bill Bruford's 'Earthworks,' one of the longest lived, best travelled, and most original jazz quartets. This volume chronicles the band's progress through the 2000s; volume 2 does the same for the 1990s. Filmed on tour in the United States in 2001, Argentina in 2002, and Germany in 2005, this DVD also includes three previously unrecorded tracks, and marks the debut performance of bassist Laurence Cottle and pianist Gwilym Simcock with the group.

Filmed on tour in Germany 1991, Japan 1991, and Bulgaria 1999, Earthworks continues to offer a platform to the brightest and best young players.
