1) правда ли, что у Пола - инфаркт?
2) правда ли, что он настолько серьезно "злоупотребляет"? Вроде не похоже было...

Или из таблоидов выжимка?

Вы лучше прочитайте открытое письмо Пола, опубликованное чуть выше. А у наших газет совести ешё меньше, чем у западных. Те хотя бы про инфаркт не писали. А у этих - аж второй.... Начитаешься такого, и у самой инфаркт будет.

Sir Paul McCartney is considering an out-of-court divorce settlement to prevent Heather Mills talking about their marriage.

The Beatles legend is reportedly keen to avoid a High Court battle next month after discovering Heather plans to represent herself in the settlement.

Paul - worth an estimated £800 million - is said to be concerned the former model will use the opportunity to discuss intimate details about their marriage and fears their four-year-old daughter Beatrice could be affected by the revelations.

The musician's legal team is believed to have contacted Heather and told her: "Paul is ready to talk."

A source said: "Paul and Heather have spoken three or four times in recent days over the phone. It seems that the mood has definitely changed and they are both now ready to resolve things sensibly."

Heather, who is representing herself after splitting from top legal firm Mishcon de Reya, is reportedly planning to build her case on the idea that splitting from Paul has ruined her chance of being happy and successful.

The source added to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "She is going to say that before they met people liked her and admired her, she was successful, had her own career and income. Heather is claiming that when they got together, he stopped her from having a career.

"She will say that now they have split, she is a hate figure and unemployable so Paul should compensate financially for the rest of her life."

The 40-year-old vegan is also preparing to argue she has revived Paul's music career.

The source added: "When they first met he was ruined by the death of Linda - his music wasn't going anywhere. She will say he got his career back on track."

Documents leaked last year alleged Paul was physically and verbally abusive toward Heather during their four-year marriage.

A source said: "She wants to come across less money-grabbing and barmy and more the wronged wife and mother."

Representatives for Heather and Paul would not comment on reports the musician is considering an out of court settlement.

Is Sir Paul McCartney turning into Roy Orbison?

Sir Paul McCartney appeared to be turning into his old friend Roy Orbison as he went for a morning walk near his North London home today.

The 65-year-old, wearing aviator-style glasses and helmet hair, looked almost identical to the singer who died suddenly from a heart attack in 1998.

"He was and always will be one of the greats of rock 'n roll." McCartney said of the Texan whose hits include 'You Got It' and 'Crying'.

Paul has remained friends with Orbison's widow Barbara and she was among the special guests at his concert at the Amoeba Record store in Los Angeles, California last year.

Earlier this week McCartney dismmed reports that he had a heart procedure last year as "entirely untrue."

"People are ringing and texting me saying, 'Are you OK?"' he writes in a posting on his newly redesigned Web site.

"I hadn't seen the report so I was puzzled by so many enquiries about my health. So I think it's a good time to put this rumour to rest."

The 65-year-old ex-Beatle says that during a routine medical examination over a year ago, "there was a minor irregularity which I needed to have tests for and which I have now been assured is completely fine."

Recent media reports "completely distorted the story, calling it an angioplasty, which is entirely untrue, and this is why so many friends have been concerned about my health," he writes.

Angioplasty is a procedure to check and clear clogged arteries in the heart.

"I am happy to say that I feel great and I have passed my most recent medical with flying colours."

McCartney, who is nominated for a Grammy Award for his latest album, "Memory Almost Full," says he wants to assure friends and family that he's in good health.

He adds: "I have secretly been enjoying all the sympathy I've been getting!"
