John and Paul hold the first board meeting of Apple Corps, in a Chinese junk sailing around New York's Statue of Liberty.
1st day of official work of Ron Kass in Apple Records. Capitol Records gives Kass a check for 1250 dollars.
1971
Paul, Linda, Ringo, and Maureen attend the wedding of Mick and Bianca Jagger. The reception is held at the nearby Café Des Arts in St. Tropez. This is the first time that Paul and Ringo have socialized together since The Beatles broke up.
1972
Further hearings on the deportation case against John.
UK single release: "Mary Had A Little Lamb"/"Little Woman Love" (Apple R 5949).
1973
Paul and Wings perform at Oxford's New Theatre.
1976
Paul's concert at the Philadelphia Spectrum ("Wings Over America Tour"). Spotted at the concert are Peter Frampton and Allen Williams, the Beatles first manager. Allen meets Paul backstage and promises to send him a copy of the 1962 Star Club tapes.
After the concert, Paul and the band fly back to their base in New York.
1978
At the Baynard Gallery, the exhibition of Linda's photograghs continues.
1984
The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.
1992
In the US, Carl Davis conducts a performance of Linda's composition "Appaloosa" and Paul's "Meditation" with the Boston Pops. The performance is taped and airs on PBS Television in the US in August.
1997
VH-1 begins a week-long special Paul McCartney program.
1998
Ringo and band, The Roundheads, perform a VH-1 "Storytellers" warm-up show at the Bottom Line Club in New York. This marks the first time Ringo has perfromed the songs "Don't Pass Me By" and "Octopus's Garden" in public.
1999
Paul's art exhibition at the Kunstforum Lyz in Hamburg with 75 of his 500 private paintings.
2000
Thieves stole the gates to Strawberry Fields, the Merseyside landmark immortalised by the Beatles' song. The 10' high iron gates were later found at a local scrap metal dealers.
2004
Ringo and Barbara arrive at the Saab showrooms in Piccadilly, central London for the opening of 'Thirty Flight Rock,' an exhibition of rock and roll photography, celebrating 30 years of Genesis publications.
2013
James McCartney performs in concert at the Club Cafe, Pittsburgh, PA (US Tour).
