A London court appointed an independent receiver to handle the group's complex finances. It also barred manager Allen Klein from further participation in Beatle affairs.
Evening: According to a rumour, John, with George and Ringo, presented himself at Paul's Cavendish Avenue house and threw a brick through one of the windows.
1973
Paul and Wings continue work on the "James Paul McCartney" special, with the shooting for the song "Mary Had A Little Lamb".
Ringo records an anti-drug commerical called "Get Off".
"Melody Maker" carries a two-page article, celebrating ten years since the Beatles topped the UK singles chart. The article, written by Chris Charlesworth, is aptly titled "Ten Years After" and ends with the statement "Yes John, you've past the audition."
1975

1976
Ringo signs a long-term contract with Polydor International in the UK and Atlantic Records in the US and Canada.

Paul attends the political rally "Freedom For Tibet" at Westminster Central Hall in London and appears on stage to recite the lyrics to "Blackbird".
2000
The Daily Mail published pictures of Paul dancing with a cowgirl on the bar of a New York club. McCartney sang along to "Whole Lotta Shakin'" through a megaphone and mimicked a strip tease in front of 100 onlookers.
2009
Tickets for a one-off gig by Sir Paul McCartney in Las Vegas sold out in seven seconds.
2014
In New York City, the Donald and Mary Oenslager Gallery runs in the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, at Lincoln Center. The library exhibition include tour memorabilia, historic film clips, video interviews with musicians, as well as interactive exhibits.
