Brian writes to Ron White, from the EMI sales department, to get them an EMI record contract. Brian has already sent him a copy of "My Bonnie".

John give an exclusive interview to Jann Werner of "Rolling Stone" magazine.

In England, John's Aunt Mimi gives her first interview about John to the Southern ITV program "Day By Day".
In Liverpool, an open-air concert and evening vigil is held for John at St. George's Hall. At the Everyman Theatre, the entire proceeds from this evening's play "Lennon" are given to a charity of Yoko's choice.

In the US, Yoko gives interviews to New York radio station WNEW-FM and Tom Brooke of BBC Television.
In the UK, LBC (London Broadcasting Company) broadcasts a special program entitled "John - Two Years On".
