The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.

In Los Angeles Superior Court, Judge Breckenridge orders that the producers for the "Beatlemania" stage show and film pay Apple Corps Ltd. the sum of $10.5 million in damages.
1987
The Music Box music channel airs a special celebration program on the Beatles and their album, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
1988
In Cologne, West Germany, the "Art Of The Beatles" exhibition is showcased during the "Liverpool On The Rhine" festival.
In London at the Savoy Hotel, George attends a private dinner to celebrate Eric Clapton's 25th year as a performing artist.
1989
At Twickenham Film Studios, Paul and his band appear live via satellite hook-up with Japanese TV for the program "Hunky Dory". The show includes an interview with Paul between performances of "This One" and "My Brave Face".
George and Ringo are seen standing in the wings at Bob Dylan's concert in Birmingham.
1990
In the US, the first two "Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends" home videos, featuring Ringo as the narrator, are released.
In the UK, the Handmade Films production of "Checking Out" is released on home video. George makes a cameo appearance in the film.
