John and Yoko appear at the Marylebone Magistrates' Court. John pleads guilty to possession of cannabis resin and is fined 150 pounds plus 20 guineas costs.

Ringo continues recordings of Sentimental Journey LP, in London.
1970
At the Kolnischer Kunstverein in Cologne, West Germany, the exhibition of Yoko's work "Happening And Fluxus" is shown.
1972
At the Southampton based studios of Southern ITV, Wings begin filming promo videos for "Hi Hi Hi" and "C Moon".
1974
Performance of John with Elton John, at the Madison Square Garden. They perform the songs "Whatever Gets You Thru The Night", "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" and "I Saw Her Standing There". Yoko is in the audience and meets John backstage.
George performs in concert (2 shows) at The Omni, Atlanta, Georgia ("North American Tour").

Ringo's home in the Hollywood Hills is destroyed by fire, causing £67,000 worth of damage and losing several of his prized Beatles mementoes.

As part of a legal deposition for Apple Corps against the producers of "Beatlemania", John issues the following statement: "I and the three other former Beatles have plans to stage a reunion concert."

At the Beverly Theater in Los Angeles, the stage play "Beatlemania" runs for a limited time.

George issues a statement about Paul's announcement of the Beatles getting together again. According to George there will be no reunion "so long as John Lennon remains dead!"

In the UK, Paul makes a live appearance and answers questions dueing a Pan-European phone-in radio show, transmitted by 17 ILR (Independent Local Radio) stations.

In London, the exhibition by Bob Whittaker, accompaning his book "The Unseen Beatles", is on display at the Photographer's Gallery in Great Newport Gallery.

In the US, the Disney Channel airs its "Eight Days A Week Tribute To The Beatles", featuring a different Beatles film every night.

In one week of sales, Anthology 1 sets a new sales record in the US: 855,473 copies. Previous record: Michael Jackson's History, 391,000 copies.
