George attends the annual Adelaide Grand Prix in Australia.

In the US, Yoko appears on the program "Inside Edition", telling how she helped with the current Beatles reunion.

At the Whatinthewhathe? Studios in Los Angeles, Ringo is joined be Aerosmith's Steven Tyler to record "I Was Walkin'" and "Love Me Do".
1998
Reports are made that a privately recorded concert tape of the Beatles at the Bournemouth Gaumont in 1963 will be auctioned at Christie's.
2000
Andy White, who played drums on the Beatles track "Love Me Do", which is the version featured on the album 1, would get no more than his original session fee of £7.
