Appearance on the "Royal Command (Variety) Performance", at the Prince Of Wales Theatre, London. Brian and Dezo Hoffmann attend. BBC-TV films the concert.
After, the Beatles retire to the bar of the Mapleton Hotel, 39 Coventry Street, London.

George performs in concert in Seattle, Washington ("North American Tour").
The stage production of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" opens in Hartford, Connecticut.
US single release: "Mine For Me"/"Farewell" (Mercury 73636), by Rod Stewart, Paul wrote the A-side track.

Wings perform in concert at the Apollo Stadium, Adelaide, Australia ("Wings World Tour").

In the US, Paul oversees final editing of the rock concert film "Rockshow".
John's killer arrives at the Dakota and fails in an attempt to meet John.
