In the UK, Paul is involved in a car crash. Escaping unhurt, there is extensive damage to his car. Ringo and Yoko phone him to see if he is alright.

11:30am approx. Charlotte, North Carolina. Telephonic interview of Yoko Ono with Ron Harper, of WWMG Magic 96.1 FM, from the Dakota Building, New York, on occasion of the exhibit of John's lithographs visiting the Charlotte area.

Lonnie Donegan, died mid-way through a UK tour and shortly before he was due to perform at a memorial concert for George Harrison with The Rolling Stones. He was 71.
