In Los Angeles, John tapes a television commerical for his album Mind Games with Tony King.
John begins litigation against the US government, accusing them of tapping his telephone.

An extraordinary general meeting decrees that Triumph Investment Trust be wound up.

Paul continues his promo tour for "Give My Regards To Broad Street", appearing live on the US radio call-in show "Rockline".

In the US, a pre-recorded interview with Paul is featured during the ABC TV program "Rocker Special".

At the Cuts Gallery in London, an exhibition of Dezo Hoffman's photographs from his book "John Lennon" is shown.
1987
The "Beatle City" exhibition runs at the West End marketplace in Dallas, Texas.
BBC Radio One transmits part-one of a three-part interview with Paul, conducted by DJ Mike Read and recorded at the International Christian Community Studios, Eastbourne, Sussex on October 12 and 13.
In the US, a pre-recorded interview with George is broadcast on the MTV program "Week In Rock".
