Brian resigns his directorship with I. Epstein & Sons (Liverpool) Limited.

Palace Theatre, Watford, Hertfordshire. Paul attends to see Jane Asher perform.

Revolver goes to the disc cutting room. George Martin phones Geoff Emerick, telling him to replace remix 11 of "Tomorrow Never Knows", marked "best", by the original best, remix 8.
US gold certification for "Paperback Writer"/"Rain".
1967
Argentina LP release: La Banda De Sargento Pepper (Odeon POPS LDS 2141 {mono} & Odeon POPS SLDS 2141 {stereo}).
1971
John and Yoko hold a press conference in supprot of the "Oz" magazine obscenity trial. A flexi-disc of John's version of "The End Of The Road" is included with the "Oz" magazine.
1972
Paul and Wings' concert in Arles, France cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
Due to the cancelled concert, Paul, Linda and Denny assemble at the EMI Pathe Marconi Studios in Paris to record Linda's "Seaside Woman".
In Kassel, West Germany, Yoko's exhibition "Documenta 5" continues.

At his private studio in Scotland, Paul records demos of him with just his piano. Known as the "Piano Tape", the songs recorded are "Million Miles", "Mull Of Kintyre", "I'll Give You A Ring", "Baby You Know It's True", "Women Kind", "Getting Closer", "In My Dreams", "Rockestra Theme", "Now That She Is Mine" (working title for "Letting Go"), "Call Me Back Again", "Lunch Box/Odd Sox", "Treat Her Gently/Lonely Old People", "You Gave Me The Answer", "Waiting For The Sun To Shine", "She Got It Good", "Blackpool", "Sunshine In Your Hair", "Girlfriend", "I Lost My Little Girl", "Upon A Hill", "Sea", "Love Is Your Road", "Sweet Little Bird", "Partners In Crime", "Suicide" and "Dr. Pepper".
1979
In England, George attends the Silverstone Grand Prix and is interviewed for ITV's program "World Of Sport".
1980
Allen Klein, ex-manager of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, begins serving a two-month prison sentence for falsifying tax returns.
1983
New York's Museum of Broadcasting showcase Beatles achieve clips documentary "The Beatles Early Days" and several other films from the museum's personal collection, including the "Ed Sullivan Show" appearances and excerpts from their Washington, D.C. concert on February 11, 1964.
1984
The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.
1985
At the BBC TV Centre in London, Paul records a new studio version of "Let It Be", overdubbing a new vocal on top of his Live Aid performance the day before.
1986
UK & US single release: "Press"/"It's Not True" (Parlophone R 6133 in the UK and Capitol B-5597 in the US).
1989
In London, at the Cliphouse Studios, Paul tapes a promo film for the track "Ou Est Le Soleil?".
