1978
George begins work on his album George Harrison. The sessions include "Love Comes To Everyone", "Not Guilty", "Here Comes The Moon", "Soft Hearted Hana", "Blow Away", "Faster", "Dark Sweet Lady", "Your Love Is Forever", "Soft Touch" and "If You Believe". George also records versions of "Flying Hour" and "Circles".

Sir Paul McCartney tops the Sunday Times Rich List of musicians with the £680m fortune he shares with his wife Nancy Shevell. Sir Paul, whose American heiress wife is said to be worth £150m, has topped each list since 1989 when he was worth an estimated £80m.
2014
In New York City, the Donald and Mary Oenslager Gallery runs in the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, at Lincoln Center. The library exhibition include tour memorabilia, historic film clips, video interviews with musicians, as well as interactive exhibits.
