Capitol Records vice-president Brown Meggs announces the impending release of The Beatles 1962-1966 & The Beatles 1967-1970 to counteract against the release of the "bootleg product" Alpha Omega, which is being advertised on TV and in the newspapers.
1976
In Atlanta, Georgia, the "Peaches" record store sends a slab of concrete to Paul, so he and his group Wings can put their hand and footprints in it. After the impressions are made, it is returned to the sidewalk in front of the store.
1982
Yoko and Sean are featured in the German magazine "Horzu".
George joins Elton John onstage in Sydney, Australia on guitar and vocals on Elton's ‘Empty Garden,' possibly the most touching musical tribute to John Lennon. A sound recording exists but has not been released, either officially or on bootleg.
1988
George pays the Inland Revenue the first of four payments of Ј1,453.

In New York City, the Donald and Mary Oenslager Gallery runs in the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, at Lincoln Center. The library exhibition include tour memorabilia, historic film clips, video interviews with musicians, as well as interactive exhibits.
