Last program of the series "Pop Go The Beatles", according to the initial plans. Photographer Dezo Hoffmann takes pictures of the Beatles during the session and having lunch in the BBC staff restaurant.
After the recording session, Hoffmann photographs the Beatles "bumping" Paul (celebrating his 21st birthday) in the middle of Delaware Road.
1964

General Sir William Oliver declares: "I know the Beatles deserve the Order of the British Empire".
Jack Berg, Former Member of Canada's Parliament, Hector Dupuis, Stanley Ellis, Cyril Hearns, Douglas Moffit, Richard Pape, RAF Squadrom Leader Paul Pearson, David Evan Rees, and World War Veteran Col. George Wagg, return their MBE's in protest of The Beatles receiving theirs. The first recorded instances of anyone returning an MBE.

At the Record Plant, sessions begin for John's album Walls And Bridges.
Evening: Ringo asks John to write a song for his next album. John writes the track "Goodnight Vienna".
Paul and Wings fly to Nashville, Tennessee. They spend seven weeks at the Sound Shop Studios recording tracks with Chet Atkins, Floyd Cramer and the Country Hams.
1983
In the UK, BBC Radio One transmits a pre-recorded interview with Paul. He talks about "Give My Regards To Broad Street" and his upcoming album Pipes Of Peace.
1984
The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.
Paul gives an interview to Stuart Grundy on the BBC Radio London program "Echoes".
1986
In the US, four members of Elephant's Memory file a $104 million lawsuit against Yoko and The Estate Of John Lennon. The suit claims that Yoko improperly made financial profits from the 1972 One To One Concerts.
In the UK, the film "I Want To Hold Your Hand" makes its TV premiere on BBC2.
1989
At BBC Broadcasting House, London, Paul conducts his third live radio phone-in of the year on the Italian RAI station Stereo 2.
1992
Ringo and his All-Starr Band perform at the Merriweather Post Pavilion, Columbia, Maryland ("North American Tour").
1998
Ringo's taped appearance on "The View" is broadcast. He performs the songs "La De Da", "Photograph" and "With A Little Help From My Friends".
Ringo also makes a live appearance on the Howard Stern radio show and in a pre-recorded interview on CNN's "Larry King Live".
Evening: Ringo is the guesat of an AOL (American On Line) Internet interview.

The exhibit Linda McCartney retrospective is displayed at the Kunst Haus Wien in Vienna, Austria. The new exhibition is the first comprehensive retrospective of Linda McCartney’s work featuring 190 of her iconic photographs.
