At the NFT (National Film Theatre) in London, a celebration honoring Handmade Films. All of Handmade films are shown from "Monty Python's Meaning Of Life" to the current release, "Track 29".

Paul performs in concert at Earl's Court, London ("The New World Tour").
1994
At the annual Sotheby's auction, a four-minute audio tape of the Quarry Men is bought by EMI for £69,000. The recording was made at the St. Peter's Church Fete on July 6, 1957, the day John and Paul first met.
1997
At the Royal Albert Hall in London, Paul joins artists Eric Clapton, Elton John, Mark Knopfler, Phil Collins, Sting and Carl Perkins for a charity event to raise funds for the stricken people of Montserrat, plaqued by recent volcanic eruptions. The British Dependency of Montserrat is organized by George Martin. The concert is transmitted live on the radio station Heart FM.
2006
The Casbah Coffee Club where the Beatles played their first gig was given a Grade II listed building status after a recommendation from English Heritage.
