Has Mick Jagger joined Madonna's religion? Rocker spotted wearing a trendy Kabbalah string

Its promises of spiritual enlightenment and help with building a better life have already won over the first lady of pop.

Now the esoteric cult of Kabbalah can add the name of Sir Mick Jagger to that of Madonna on its list of followers.

The Rolling Stones star was spotted sporting a Kabbalah bracelet on his way to a meeting in London.

The string charm, which supposedly protects against the "evil eye", has already been seen on the wrists of Madonna, Billie Piper, Paris Hilton and Victoria Beckham.

Kabbalah is a Jewish tradition based on medieval interpretations of the Old Testament.

The website of the London Kabbalah Centre says its purpose is "to make accessible the ancient wisdom and tools of Kabbalah in order to illuminate minds and hearts".

Another centre, in Jerusalem, promises to show followers how to "remove every form of chaos, pain and suffering" and "ultimately to erase even death itself".

Devotees of the not-for-profit organisation are also advised to drink blessed water, which can cost nearly £4 a bottle.

Kabbalah has its detractors, among them some rabbis who have denounced it as crackpot mysticism.

Last month, the couple stayed at the 347-room Indian palace home of the Maharaja of Jodhpur and collected mystical trinkets for their £10million Chelsea mansion.

Last year, when the Stones were on tour in South America, Sir Mick took time out to have his "auras cleansed" in a smoke ceremony conducted by a roadside shaman.

His former wife, Jerry Hall, had turned to Kabbalah herself after their very public split. That came on the back of his fling with Brazilian model Luciana Morad, who had Sir Mick's love child eight years ago.

Sir Mick, who comes from a Roman Catholic family, is not known for strong religious beliefs.

He married Miss Hall at a Balinese Hindu wedding in 1990, which he later said was void in order to make their divorce settlement less costly.

Miss Scott, a 40-year-old model who is widely seen as his soulmate, was raised by Mormon adoptive parents in Utah.

When Sir Mick was photographed with the bracelet, he was on his way to meet Simon Fuller, the music mogul who launched the Spice Girls.

Fuller is worth £450million and Sir Mick a hardly less modest £230million.

As an up and coming actor, James Jagger is well versed in the art of imitation.

Even, it seems, when it comes to his taste in women.

Standing side by side, the 21-year-old and his new girlfriend, Alice Devall, bore a strong similarity to his parents, Sir Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall.

While Jagger junior replicated his father's famous stare, his 19-year-old date looked remarkably like her boyfriend's 51-year-old mother.

The couple were pictured at the British Independent Film Awards held in London on Wednesday night.

An onlooker said: "They seemed really relaxed in each other's company.

"James has honed his dad's iconic facial expressions down to a tee. Alice is the absolute spit of Jerry at that age.

"Seeing the two of them together is quite surreal as they really do look so much like a young, perhaps slightly edgier, Mick and Jerry."

James recently made his stage debut in London and both his 64-year-old father and Miss Hall, who separated from the Rolling Stone singer in 1999, went to see him.

Mick Jagger feasts on fertility boosting superfoods

Iconic Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger has reportedly made dramatic changes to his diet on order to boost his fertility levels.

The 64-year-old rocker and father of seven is eating lots of avocados and drinking a glass of goji berry juice everyday to increase his chances of conceiving a child with long-term partner L'Wren Scott.

Aztec's believed that avocados and goji berries improve men's sexual prowess and libido.

The ageing star, whose children's ages range from 37 to 10 years old, has been focusing his attentions on his health after finishing the latest Rolling Stones tour in August.

Reports claim that Mick regularly goes to the gym and takes Pilates sessions in order to maintain his weight.

According to the author of e-book 7 Strategies to Fertility Success Laurie Morse: "When trying to conceive, we must shift our perspective from short-term, taste bud gratification to nutritional choices that provide preventative and long-term internal health and support."

Recent research carried out in the US found that men who use their laptops by balancing them on their lap are at higher risk of infertility by raising the scrotal temperature.

Американская телевизионная корпорация ABC планирует запустить в производство комедийный сериал с участием знаменитого музыканта. Проект носит рабочее название Let"s Rob Mick Jagger (Давайте-ка ограбим Мика Джаггера).

Съемки пилотной серии Let"s Rob Mick Jagger с участием Джаггера состоялись на прошлой неделе в Новой Зеландии. Если результат удовлетворит руководство компании, сериал появится на экранах телевизоров американцев уже осенью этого года.

Появление Мика Джаггера в сериале будет носить эпизодический характер, несмотря на то что он - ключевой персонаж во всей истории. Сюжет Let"s Rob Mick Jagger рассказывает о молодом швейцаре нью-йоркского небоскреба, вместе с друзьями составляющего планы ограбления пентхауза Мика Джаггера.

На справочном киношном сайте читал, что играл какого-то солдата в баре, но в титрах это не фигурирует, когда смотрел не знал об этом и не всматривался.
