Слушаю сейчас fugazi и постоянно задаю себе вопрос: почему тогда, в середине 80-х не потянуло?:( С одной стороны, наверное, виной тому моя "немногозадачность" когда погружаешься всецело во что-то одно и ничего больше не замечаешь:( Тогда слушал Genesis образца 78-го c Коллинзом и U2 и ни чего больше не надо было. ( Сейчас, к стати, нечто подобное творится с моим 15-летним сыном, беспрерывно слушающим исключительно Pink Floyd Dark Side и the Wall хотя начинал с Purple и Black Sabbath:( Еще немного отпугивала тогда излишняя (как казалось) харизма и некоторая гротескность Фиша, а может был просто молод и как их ровесник подсознательно не хотел признавать их авторитет? Не знаю... Только сейчас понимаю как звучит свобода в их музыке! Кайф!

26 августа Marillion выступили с Фишем впервые за последние почти 20 лет на фестивале в графстве Бакингемшир, а точнее в Hobble on the Cobblesevent на Рыночной площади, где в общем-то и была образована группа.
Однако Фиш сказал, что не стоит ожидать полноценного воссоединения.

He said: "It was great. It was just a load of fun. But nothing should be read into it. I think it just proves that we're actually friends.

"There's always been these rumours that there's some sort of animosity between us but that went a long, long time ago."

Ой не верю! С учетом того, что оба проекта находятся в не самом лучшем финансовом положении, особенно М. Тут конечно ситуация не столь прибыльная как с Genesis, но думается, что кто-то решит профинансировать затею.

Занятно, у меня та же ситуация. В свое время пытался слушать - не зацепило. Оценил сначала этот альбом, а потом и всю их "классику" только в конце 90-х.

Somewhere Else, по моему, худший альбом Мариллион - просто какая-то квинтэссенция занудства и немелодичности. Особенно после великолепного Marbles.
Estonia - по-моему, это о катастрофе парома "Эстония". По крайней мере, текст и музыка вполне подходящие.
