1973
In England, work resumes on the "James Paul McCartney" TV special. Paul performs an acoustic medley of "Bluebird"/"Mama's Little Girl"/"Michelle"/"Heart Of The Country". This medley was not used in the special, but another medley, minus "Mama's Little Girl" is included in the show.
US album release: Alpha Omega, Vol. 1 and Alpha Omega, Vol. 2. These albums prompted Apple to rush release The Beatles 1962-1966 and The Beatle 1967-1970.
1979

Paul McCartney announced that the surviving Beatles had recorded some new songs, which would be released at year's end, along with the TV documentary "The Beatles Anthology".

At the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford, Yoko's art exhibition "Have You Seen The Horizon Lately" is on display.
1999
Paul McCartney is inducted at the 14th annual Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony. Bruce Springsteen and Bill Joel gracefully thank their beaming mothers. Paul mourns the loss of his wife Linda. And the three lead a jam session that has a star-studded audience up and dancing during the 14th annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Sir Paul McCartney confirmed that he and former model Heather Mills had become "an item". The couple had met after working on the same charity project.
2002
With Yoko in attendance, a bronze statue of John is unveiled at the newly renamed Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
2004
George Harrison is inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame at the 19th annual cermony in New York. Tom Petty and Jeff Lyne formerly induct George, and the award is accepted by Olivia and Dhani Harrison.
