Orchestra overdub. 1st use of two 4-track machines running in sync. Initial idea for the end: a long "hummmmmm".

BBC bans Paul's "Give Ireland Back To The Irish".

In the US, Ringo gives a radio interview to DJ Robert W. Morgan.
1983
At the 2nd annual BRIT Awards, Paul receives an award as the "Best British Male Artist of 1982" from the British Record Industry. It is presented to him by George Martin.
1988
George is guest on KLOS-FM's "Rockline" out of Los Angeles.
1993
Paul flys to New York City to continue with promotional activities and appear on NBC's "Saturday Night Live".
1994
In the UK, Linda goes to Fakenham in Norfolk, to lay the first brick for a Ross Young factory. It will be used to produce Linda's range of vegeterian foods.
1997
At the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford, Yoko's art exhibition "Have You Seen The Horizon Lately" is on display.
2012
In Los Angeles, at the West Hall Lot, Sir Paul McCartney is honored as the 2012 MusiCares Person of the Year at a special event celebrating his exceptional artistic achievements as well as his philanthropic work.
2013
Sir Paul McCartney wins the Grammy for "Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album", for his 2012 release Kisses on the Bottom. In addition, his 1973 album Band on the Run is inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
2014
In New York City, the Donald and Mary Oenslager Gallery runs in the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, at Lincoln Center. The library exhibition include tour memorabilia, historic film clips, video interviews with musicians, as well as interactive exhibits.
