Review: Bob Blackburn - Westwood One Radio Network
"I was there, I attended the afternoon show. Chuck Stenberg's fun, entertaining, and informative DVD of "The Beatles In Portland" brought that day like it was yesterday, not 40 years ago. To the best of my knowledge, no one else has ever done a Beatles related documentary like this, it's a unique view of one day in the life of the Beatles, and the fans who loved them so then and still do now, and how that day affected so many lives much as my own. This documentary tells a great story of just one day out of hundreds of this group that changed the world. Why has no one else done this? For anyone who experienced "Beatlemania" or wonders what it was like, this is the film to watch.....I love all of the extras too. A lot of love and work went into this and I think every Beatles fan will enjoy it.
