Первую вещь субжа, услышанную мной (вернее, увиденную - по европейскому MTV в 1994 году, когда оно еще не было настолько поганым), Cornflake Girl, позже разлюбил, переключившись на Little Earthquake.

Особенно там мне нравится Happy Vampire (надеюсь, не ошибся в названии).

Но также хороши Crusify, China и Me And A Gun (IMHO).

У нее сейчас что-то новенькое появилось. в магазинах лежит...

она же тетенька молодая - зачем ей переиздания? у нее еще силы на новый материал есть!!!

Как она мне нравится!Точнеее,ее песни!Они такие искренние,непосредственные,берут за душу...У нее своя,ни на кого не похожая манера пения,слегка надрывная и бесконечно нежная.Она будто о чем-то грустит...
Меня очень впечатляет!

А песня Thousand Oceans меня каждый раз заставляет плакать,она очень личная...

Tori Amos Nears Completion of Next Album

Tori Amos has set February 22 as the date to release her next album 'The Beekeeper.

Amos is currently in the final stages of recording the album at her UK studio Martian Engineering.

"The Beekeeper is musically inspired by the fact that the piano has realized that she has an organ" said Tori in a statement. "With my right hand on her organ and my left hand on her piano keys, I have been changed by the relationship between these two beautiful creatures, the Bosendorfer piano and the B3 Hammond organ."

The album is just one of two projects she is working on. The other is her book Tori Amos: Piece by Piece, co-written with Ann Powers.

The book will give a first hand account of her usually private life and promises to share the intimacies of her as an individual and a performer.

'Piece by Piece' will be launched on February 8.

Amos Inaugurating 'Bootleg' Series

Joining a growing trend, Tori Amos has taken the plunge into officially sanctioned live recordings, of which she plans to release six this year. The Web site http://www.toriamosbootlegs.com/ has been established for the distribution of the double-disc sets, which will stem from recordings made on this spring's Original Sinsuality solo tour.

The first two discs will be available beginning Aug. 30 through the site, with pre-orders already being taken. Four additional "bootlegs" will be released sometime in the fall.

Of the first batch, one was recorded April 15 at Chicago's Auditorium Theatre, while the other is taken from an April 25 show at Los Angeles' Royce Hall Auditorium. Each includes performances of songs from Amos' most recent Epic release, "The Beekeeper," as well as favorites and rarities from her catalog.

Also featured is an interesting crop of covers, with the Chicago show yielding versions of Jim Croce's "Operator" and Joni Mitchell's "Circle Game," while the L.A. show features takes on Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" and Jules Shear's "All Through the Night."

As previously reported, tonight Amos will open her Summer of Sin North American tour in Atlanta. The run, which also features performances by the Ditty Bops and the Like, closes Sept. 17 in Los Angeles
