The May 2003 issue of MOJO is upon us and with it comes four exclusive art postcards featuring TOM WAITS, THE WHITE STRIPES, THE FLAMING LIPS and Klaus Voormann's rendition of THE BEATLES, circa 2000.
But that's not all! In a Willie Wonka-styled "Golden Ticket" initiative, we have procured three original drawings by YOKO ONO and have cunningly concealed them inside three separate copies of MOJO this month.
The High Priestess of Avant Garde drew the three works exclusively for MOJO during her current Peace campaign and they were placed randomly in separate copies of the magazine which could be in the UK, US or overseas.
Also in the May 2003 issue of MOJO:
PAUL McCARTNEY Songwriter, hero, diplomat, politician, genius, ex-Beatle, bloke: "The McCartney-Lennon credit story has been played up. It was just a little request." By Johnny Black.
YOKO ONO Artist, musician, mother, role-model, hero, villain, survivor: "I didn't think, Oh I'm a lonely child, because that was my life. I thought, this is what it is and this is how I deal with it." By Paul Trynka.
This month, MOJO has produced a super-rare Yoko Ono cover. MOJO Recommended Retailers will stock just 1750 of these. Click on the link below for your nearest store.
Mojo Recomended retailers has Paul's cover on the first page, Yoko's with the magazine contents page.
