The Beatles perform at the Kaiserkeller Club, Grosse Freiheit,
Hamburg, West Germany.
[B] 1961
The Beatles perform at the Cavern Club, Liverpool - a night show.
[B] 1962
The Beatles perform at the Cavern Club, a night show and a
successful "Welcome Home" performance celebrating The Beatles'
return from Hamburg. Also appearing are The Mersey Beats and The
Pete Hartigan Jazz Band.
[B] 1963
At a ceremony held at EMI House in London, The Beatles receive
silver LP discs for "Please Please Me" and also for "With the
Beatles", which won't be released for another three days! They
also receive a silver EP for "Twist and Shout" and a silver single
for "She Loves You". Then they attend a cocktail party and a
formal lunch in the EMI boardroom with company executives and
invited guests.
[O] 1966
UK release of Escorts single "From Head to Toe/Night Time"
(Columbia). Paul McCartney produced the single. One source
credits McCartney with playing tambourine on "From Head to Toe".
[R] 1974
US release of Ringo Starr LP "Goodnight Vienna" (Apple). Songs:
"(It's All Da-Da Down to) Goodnight Vienna", "Occapella", "Oo Wee",
"Husbands and Wives", "Snookeroo", "All By Myself", "Call Me", "No
No Song", "Only You (and You Alone)", "Easy for Me", and "Goodnight
Vienna (reprise)". 24 weeks on Billboard chart; highest position
#8.
[G] 1974
US release of George Harrison single "Dark Horse/I Don't Care
Anymore" (Apple). 10 weeks on Billboard chart; highest position
#15.
[J] 1985
UK release of John Lennon single "Jealous Guy/Going Down on Love"
(Parlophone). Not previously released as a single. A 12-inch
single is also released, adding the song "Oh, Yoko!" onto the
B-side.
