Бас-гитарист рок-группы "Юрайя Хип" /Uriah Heep/ Тревор Болдер, ушедший из жизни 21 мая в возрасте 62 лет, отличался профессионализмом, надежностью и блестящим чувством юмора. Об этом рассказал в интервью корр. ИТАР-ТАСС бывший участник легендарного британского коллектива Кен Хенсли. По его словам, их знакомство состоялось в 1976 году, когда Болдер был взят на замену знаменитому Джону Уэттону, в послужном списке которого к тому моменту значилась работа в группе "Кинг кримзон" /King Crimson/, входившей в те времена в авангард арт-рока. "На самом деле правда заключается в том, что полностью заменить кого бы то ни было просто невозможно, но в качестве басиста и бэк-вокалиста Тревор оказался на своем месте, - подчеркнул Хенсли, проживающий сейчас в испанском городе Аликанте. - Его стиль игры и личные качества позволили ему довольно легко влиться в коллектив. Болдер быстро подружился с /основателем и бессменным гитаристом "Юрайя Хип" - прим. ИТАР-ТАСС/ Миком Боксом. Кроме того, он написал пару отличных композиций. Наше тесное общение с ним на почве музыки продолжалось в течение последующих четырех лет". "Тревор отличался рассудительностью, предоставляя право творить все безумие именно мне! - вспоминает 67-летний Хенсли. - Он был довольно уравновешенной личностью, но в то же время сразу проникся командным духом, что имеет ключевое значение для любой группы. Он не был склонен к длительным спорам и никогда не создавал проблем для коллектива, будь то в студии или на гастролях. В целом Болдер был обстоятельным и надежным человеком". "Тревор, или Тафти, как мы его называли /из-за своеобразного хохолка на голове - прим. корр. ИТАР-ТАСС/, всегда качественно выполнял свою работу и являлся неотъемлемым членом группы, - подчеркнул собеседник Агентства. - Периодически его типичное йоркширское чувство юмора и акцент вызывали у нас приступы безудержного смеха. Он не имел дурных привычек и поэтому всегда был адекватен". Однако, как признался Кен Хенсли, являвшийся клавишником и главным композитором "Юрайя Хип" с 1969 по 1980 год, на которые пришелся "золотой" период творчества группы, он не поддерживал с Тревором Болдером прямых контактов в течение многих лет, а кончине бывшего товарища по коллективу он узнал из официального сообщения группы в социальной сети "Фейсбук". Как указано в официальном заявлении "Юрайя Хип", музыкант ушел из жизни после длительной борьбы с раком. Тревор Болдер родился в Восточном Йоркшире 9 июня 1950 года. Под руководством отца он освоил игру на духовых инструментах и в этом качестве в середине 1960-х начал выступать на местной ритм-энд-блюзовой сцене. Вкусить первые плоды успеха Тревору довелось в 1971 году, когда он уже в качестве басиста вошел в аккомпанирующий состав Дэвида Боуи "Спайдерс фром Марс" /The Spiders from Mars/.
