The following is a transcription by Gerhard Den Hollander, of the last Radio K.A.O.S. show performed in London in 1987. I had to do hours of editing! And still in some cases the accuracy is not exact. It seems as though this transcription was done, in part, by translation, and perhaps in some cases not very accurate, or in other instances by someone not fluent enough in English to interpret syntax, meanings, or slang correctly.

Jim:- Alright, let me introduce you to one of the intrinsic parts of
the bleeding heart band. This is a gentleman who has a solo album
out on his own , which is doing quite well. He is the keyboardist
forthe Bleeding Heart Band, and he was in a group called Ace at one
time, also Squeeze, and most recently, Mike and the Mechanics.

Will you please welcome the keyboard player of the Bleeding
Heart Band, Ladies and gentleman Paul Carrack.

Jim:- So for the very last time, we are about to link up with the
satelite , we will begin the last show of the Radio KAOS tour

Однако уйти в тот момент было нельзя, поскольку ощущение было тогда примерно то же, как если бы Новый год отмечать не ночью, а на следующее утро.

The Who закончили свое выступление в 1:50 по московскому времени. Начались минуты напряженного ожидания. Вдруг над полем Гайд Парка раздались звуки сердца, так хорошо знакомые, те, что звучат в начале самого знаменитого альбома группы Dark Side of the Moon.

Звучат первые звуки Breathe. На сцене ЧЕТВЕРО: Уотерс с бас-гитарой, Гилмор с гитарой, Мэйсон за ударными и Райт за клавишными. Все настолько потрясающе, что не веришь своим глазам - группа как в старые добрые 70-е.

Money. На экране идут клипы. Удивительно, но Гилмор несмотря на свой возраст в великолепной форме: это касается и гитарной игры, и вокала. Счастливый Ник Мейсон за ударными. Ему, Уотерсу и Бобу Гелдофу надо быть благодарными за то, что мы видим. Народ в Гайд Парке наслаждается музыкой. И после волнующего соло Дэвида Гилмора, группа выходит на поклон - Роджер подозвал своего старого соратника Дэйва, и все четверо, обнимаясь прощаются с публикой.

Наконец то, они выступили вместе в классическом составе за долгие 24 года.

Концерт в Лондоне закончился тем, что все участники вышли на сцену и исполнили Hey Jude Beatles. Но на то, чтобы смотреть, что было после Pink Floyd и что происходило в это время в Париже, не оставалось никаких сил. 04.07.05 Интервью с Ником Мэйсоном и Дэвидом Гилмором накануне Live 8
Журналист Крис Эванс с Радио 2 взял интервью у Ника Мэйсона, а также Дэвида Гилмора накануне выступления Pink Floyd в Гайд-Парке.

Крис Эванс: Сегодня должно произойти грандиозное событие. Практически в самом конце шоу, до выступления Пола МакКартни, Пинк Флойд сыграют вместе впервые за последние более чем двадцать лет.

НМ: О, я думаю, более необычно, потому что в этом есть нечто большее, чем просто интересы группы, я бы сказал, делание чего-то полезного и нужного.

КЭ: Что будет после этого? Это, наверное, большой вопрос.

НМ: Хм... Я не думаю, что у нас есть какие либо планы. [обрывая фразу и уже уверенно] Это не [смеется] тот тонкий конец большого клина, который вызовет мировой тур в следующем году. Я думаю, речь идёт только об этом конкретном событии.

КЭ: Кто был самым «заржавевшим»? [имеется в виду исполнительно-музыкальная «форма»]

НМ: О! Это хороший вопрос. Эм... Я думаю... Стеснительно, но это, пожалуй, был я.

КЭ: Это очень благородный ответ, который вы даёте практически на любые проблемные вопросы. [смеются] Кто был следующий из сильно «заржавевших»?

НМ: Я не знаю. На самом деле, самой большой проблемой было то, что Роджер играл многие треки, мы играли какие-то треки, и мы играли их по-разному в течение последних 15 лет. В результате, временами было небольшое расхождение во мнениях о том, как тот или иной трек должен быть сыгран теперь.

КЭ: И чьё мнение победило?

НМ: Мне кажется, мы нашли «золотую середину».
