В природе (но не в широкой продаже) существует видео концерта в Альберт-холле (1969). "I put a spell on you" там нет, зато эта песня есть на Premonition (1997) - вполне достойная компенсация.

Premonition у меня,конечно,есть.Великолепный концерт.Но хочется именно тех лет.А ты сам видел эту запись, качество записи, наверное,никакое? Где можно разжиться, такой записью?

Был, был какой-то видеосборник кридовый, - но на кассете, не на DVD. "Lookin' Out My Back Door" на продранном красном диване, "Sweet Hitch Hiker" с обалденным видеорядом, пара концертных записей качества ужасного до непотребства... Хороший такой сборник, на час примерно.

Вот, кое-что нашел.Есть еще что-то, клипы и какой-то live, минут на 40. Так что, не совсем безнадега

JOHN FOGERTY TO SHOOT CONCERT DVD NEXT MONTH

John Fogerty will shoot a concert DVD in Los Angeles next month called The Long Road Home. Fogerty and his band will play a full set -- including both solo and Creedence Clearwater Revival hits -- for a private, invitation-only crowd at The Wiltern LG on September 15th. However, 250 places have been reserved for a contest through Fogerty's official website. All you have to do is go to johnfogerty.com and fill out a form with your name, address, phone number, birth date, and e-mail address, and you could win a pair of tickets. A release date for John Fogerty: The Long Road Home hasn't been announced yet.

We have heard talk of a new Fogerty album, but whether it's a studio project or a live release from the concert is unclear.

The title A Long Road Home might refer to the fact that Concord Records, which bought Fantasy Records and the Creedence Clearwater Revival catalogue last year, is producing the DVD, so Fogerty is reunited with his musical past.

A John Fogerty retrospective titled The Long Road Home -- The Ultimate John Fogerty-Creedence Collection is due out Nov. 1. The compilation gathers together highlights from the singer-songwriter's solo albums and his classic work with Creedence Clearwater Revival. The 25-track disc will be released on Fantasy Records -- Fogerty recently signed a new deal with the label, with which he's had a long and contentious relationship. Fantasy also will issue a new Fogerty studio album next year.

Fantasy deal reunites Fogerty with his songs

LOS ANGELES (Billboard) - John Fogerty laughs when he says his next album of new material will be on Fantasy Records. "That's a phrase I never thought I'd say," he notes with glee.

In a turn of events almost impossible to believe, due to Concord Records' acquisition of Fantasy, the singer/songwriter has been reunited with the catalog of his rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival after a 30-plus-year battle. And he has signed a long-term deal for his future recordings with the label.

In a well-told tale, Fogerty fought for years with former Fantasy owner Saul Zaentz, who went so far as to sue Fogerty for plagiarizing himself. Fantasy owns the masters to such CCR classics as "Proud Mary," "Bad Moon Rising" and "Fortunate Son."

To buy his freedom from Fantasy, to which he owed at least 30 more albums, Fogerty struck a deal that meant he would never receive artist royalties from CCR recordings.

For years Fogerty was so embittered by the fight with Zaentz that he refused to perform the hits live, although he has for several years now.

When Concord first contemplated buying Fantasy late last year, Fogerty and his manager/wife Julie approached the label, initially just to say, "I'm the guy who wrote all the music you're thinking of purchasing," he says.

After the $80 million deal closed early this year, Fogerty's talks with Concord resumed, resulting not only in collaboration on his beloved catalog but on new material. Fogerty was without a label after Universal's purchase of DreamWorks a few years ago.

INVITED TO THE TABLE

"The folks at Concord really had respect for my work. That was quite different for me," he says. "For 35 years I've been treated like a hired hand that kind of snuck his way into the dinner table, and that wasn't very nice."

The reunion with his babies -- his songs -- has left him delighted and filled with many emotions. "I just had no reason to even dare hope this could happen," he says. "That's my first emotion. But No. 2 is that it shouldn't have been that way in the first place. But I'm not going to dwell on that one for very long because I spent so many years feeling like it was wrong. I'm just going to accept what it is and be very, very happy about it."

One of Concord's first moves was to offer to pay Fogerty artist royalties on his CCR material going forward. The checks should start rolling in after the release of his first complete career retrospective, "The Long Road Home," out November 1.

A live DVD, taped September 15 in Los Angeles, will follow. Then, Fogerty says, he will turn to writing new material.

Concord president Glen Barros says he knows his label cannot fix the past for Fogerty, but he believes it can create a happy future. "A big part of that was reuniting him with what he did with CCR. While we're looking forward to his new music, we also want to make sure we promote the great body of work. Now he can feel good about everything he can do with this music."

А! Вот ещё - чуть не забыл. На кассетах была одно время в продаже телепрограмма Storytellers Live с Джон Камеронычем. Очень хорошая программа, Камероныч шуткует, политические взгляды свои высказывает, жёнушку добрым словом вспоминает (надевая стальные когти под слайд-партию на "Love Of My Life"), ну и играет, конечно. И поёт. Ещё состав у него там аккомпанирующий совершенно рулезный, а когда эти семь мужиков чёрных вылезают подпеть на "Hundred And Five In The Shade" - вообще кобзон полнейший. Всячески рекомендую.

Кстати сейчас Фогерти полностью сменил аккомпанирующий состав - больше как соображениями "разнообразия", чтоб публике не скучно было одних и тех же видеть, я не могу это объяснить. Не знаю каковы его новые музыканты, но мне как и многим нравилась ритм-секция образца Premonition.
С другой стороны конечно, поскольку новый альбом получился более акустическим и менее рок-н-ролльным чем Blue Moon Swamp, можно предположить, что Джону нужен был ударник помягче чем Кенни Ароноф. Хотя прежний басист имхо вписался бы и в новый материал.

Если возможно, то приобрету Бразильский и все остальные варианты...

Читал в конференциях, что новые владельцы Fantasy собираются выпустить упомянутый концерт в Альберт-холле на DVD. Будем ждать.
