В России года 3 - 4 тому... появлялся уже вот такой релиз The Remixes 86>98, вроде как Австралийское издание. Большая часть треков идентична.

Ну а если серьезно, тогда еще Иксайтер не вышел, старые миксы в этот альбом не вошли, а вообще это все фирмы выпускают, все претензии к Мьют, не к музыкантам.
Я не покупал. Мне абсолютно не интересны ремиксы ни от кого.

Политика по записям DM у мьют очень напоминает И Эм Ай – скую политику по записям Beatles. Деньжат рубить на новых сурагатах, а переиздания старого добротного на потом, а может на никогда…

Depeche Mode 100 лет не слушал, и вот недавно на время подсел как подросток на них на определенный период)) Много интересного.

Гитарки в Policy Of Truth понравились, например. Сразу два риффа в одной композиции (это у негитарной-то группы). Второй рифф заканчивается таким lick'ом характерным. Первый рифф - под вирши, второй под припев, но они и сразу друг с другом так ээээ... звучат. А под конец этот lick от самого риффа отцепляется и действует самостоятельно. И вообще завершает все действо, олицетворяя неумолимость policy of truth, должно быть. Драматургия, ёпрст. Вообще со вкусом сделаны гитары. И все остальные что там есть.

В целом Violator - прямо совершенство какое-то. Да SOFAD тоже здорово, и Music For Masses. Но Violator - поразил не на шутку. Кто бы мог подумать.

Помню, была такая вещь у DM с паравозными свистками. Не подскажете, что это и где это есть? Ничего кроме свистков-гудков не помню))

Была также когда-то кассета, и там на 45 минут - был сингл с Policy Of Truth. Была самой качественной записью в фонотеке. Жаль, что больше нет ее.

Taking hints from R&B, yet adhering entirely to Depeche Mode's stylish electronic swoosh, "Policy of Truth" is a silky smooth and funky highlight among highlights from Violator. More than perhaps anywhere else previous to the album, vocalist David Gahan effects a kind of sinister, romantic croon. It's a style he'd gravitate to again on Ultra and Exciter, though with perhaps more confidence and humor on those later albums. From its groovy opening to its jazzy dance club conclusion, "Policy of Truth" oozes an addictive, uneasy kind of suaveness. It's clear that the fuzzy, wobbly electronics come largely from Alan Wilder and Flood, as Violator is largely considered to be Wilder's album, and because so much of Violator's success stems from Wilder's masterful, edgy arrangements. Gahan isn't truly the star of the song, for better or worse, but because his voice takes a kind of background role, the smarmy keyboards, synths, and samplers absolutely bleed emotion and atmosphere. It's almost as if Gahan was told to find an indifferent mood, stick with it, and let the music take control. "Policy of Truth" feels experimental in construction, as electronic sounds ring out and disappear from just about every angle. But it's an experiment that resoundingly works. That it's difficult to imagine a more perfect lead-in for the startlingly sweet "Blue Dress" is just another example of how great an album Violator is, in both its songs and its sequencing.

Depeche Mode вернутся в Россию

Depeche Mode огласили даты своего нового мирового турне - первого за четыре года. Тур в поддержку нового альбома группы, запланированного к выпуску на конец этого года, начнется осенью 2005-го. Первыми с новым альбомом Depeche Mode познакомятся американские поклонники коллектива.

В начале января 2006-го музыканты вернутся в Европу. Европейская часть турне легендарной группы начнется 13 января выступлением в германском Дрездене и закончится 3 апреля в Лондоне. На сегодняшний момент утверждены даты 39 концертов - в том числе, в России, Литве, Латвии, Эстонии, Польше, Венгрии, Словении и Чехии.

Российские концерты группы состоятся 3 марта в Санкт-Петербурге и 4 марта в Москве.

В последний раз Depeche Mode колесили по миру в 2001-м году с туром в поддержку диска «Exiter». В ходе этих гастролей музыканты отыграли 85 концертов.

Depeche Mode Reveal New Album

Following the announcement of a collection of huge 2006 World Tour dates Depeche Mode have revealed news about their highly anticipated new album to be entitled ‘Playing The Angel’.

The new record, the band's first studio album since 2001's ‘Exciter’ will be released on October 17 according to information given at a special album playback at Home House in London today (July 6).

Songs included on the record are, ’Sinner in Me’, ’Suffer Well’, ’John the Revelator’, ’Macrovision’, ’A Pain That I Used To Be’ and ’I Want It All’.

The first single to be taken from the album will be 'Precious’ which hits shops on October 3.

In addition the band recorded three other new songs with working titles of ‘Everything’, ‘Martyr For Love’ and ‘Free’ – but it’s not know whether these will appear on the record under those (or any other) names.

’Playing The Angel’ was recorded in Sound Design Studio in Santa Barbara, New York’s Stratosphere and London with elbow and Blur producer Ben Hillier, Richard Morris [The Grid] and sometime Ian Brown collaborator Dave McCracken.

As always with Depeche Mode the cover photography will be handled by Anton Corbijn.

As previously reported (see Depeche Mode Announce World Tour) the band announced details of three huge gigs in the UK next spring as part of a huge world tour. The UK leg begins at the Manchester Evening News Arena on March 30 and includes dates at the Birmingham NEC (March 31) and Wembley Arena (April 2 & 3).

Arrest over Depeche Mode download

Police have arrested a man in Poland who allegedly made a Depeche Mode single and video available to download from the internet ahead of its release.

The single, Precious, is not due to be released until October but was found on a Polish website.

The band's record label, working with industry groups, managed to trace the origin of the files.

Police said the video was accessed from a supposedly secure copy and illegally made public.

An address in Kielce, Poland, was raided by police who removed two computers and a number of CDs said to contain copied music.

The International Federation of Phonographic Industries (IFPI) worked with Polish industry group ZPAV and Depeche Mode's label Mute, owned by EMI, to have the files removed.

Distributed within hours

The arrest is part of a worldwide crackdown on music put on the internet for people to illegally download.

The industry says the practice harms not just the profits of the big recording artists, but those that make their living from music such as sound engineers and independent record shops.

Jeremy Banks, head of IFPI's Internet Anti-Piracy Unit said: "This action shows just how seriously the record companies view pre-release piracy.

"Pre-releases can be illegally posted, downloaded and distributed worldwide within hours. So it is crucial for the recording industry's cycle of reinvestment to prevent initial sales being lost to internet piracy."
