The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.
1985
In London, "Nobody Told Me" receives a BMI (British Music Industry) award.
In the UK, Channel 4 transmits a portion of the compilation series "Ready Steady Go!". DJ Gary Crowley hosts the program entitled "The Weekend Starts Here".
1986
At Giants Stadium, in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Yoko makes an appearance at the Amnesty International charity concert called "A Conspiracy Of Hope". She sings the song "I Shall Be Released".
1989
Paul and his group arrive in Rome to further promote his album Flowers In The Dirt. They appear on the RAI TV program "Saint Vincent Estate '89" and perform the songs "My Brave Face" and "This One".
1991
In the UK, Channel 4 transmits the documentary "The Man Who Moved The Beatles". The program is a profile on George Dunning, the man responsible for the film "Yellow Submarine".
1992
Ringo and his All-Starr Band perform at the Pine Knob Music Theater, Clarkston, Michigan ("North American Tour").
George makes a surprise guest appearance at Carl Perkins' concert at the Hard Rock Cafe in Piccadilly, London. They perform the songs "Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby", "Blue Suede Shoes" and "Honey Don't".
UK EP release: "The Beatles EP Set".
In Japan, Yoko makes an appearance on the NHK TV program "Tetsuko Ni Heya" to promote her new CD set Onobox.
1993
Paul's concert at the Blockbuster Pavilion in Charlotte, North Carolina ("New World Tour"). This concert was transmitted live on the Fox Television Network. The soundtrack of the concert is simultaneously transmitted in stereo on the Westwood One radio network.
Prior to the concert, part two of a special interview with Paul is broadcast on the Fox Network.
1995
Ringo and his All-Starr Band perform at the Sendai Sun-Plaza, Sendai. (Japan tour).
1996
Beatles' record producer George Martin is knighted.
1998
In the US, Ringo appears on the NBC TV program "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno".
